Is it just me or is the Skylanders series not only regaining love from the fans but also gaining new interest from people? This video is truly very fascinating and nostalgic look back to Spyro's Adventure. Also thumbs up for talking about the 3DS version because people would very likely ignore the existence of the 3DS Skylanders games. If you're going to make more Skylanders look back videos, would you talk about their 3DS versions if you can?

There 32 in the first game, but of course some figures got recolor like the legendary or holiday themed. Personally love how the console and 3ds versions are different making the world feel big. Personally I love the Earth skylanders follow by tech.

I counted 37 instead of 32 because it included the 5 color variants the game had (the four legendries and Dark Spyro). I also like the Earth Skylanders from this game, all of them were really fun to play as!

@@Mikeinoid Still, it doesn't feel right saying 37 skylanders as those extra 5 figures are just recolors, not entirely new skylanders. If you said 37 "Figures" then yea it would be more understandable.

I grew up playing with the 3DS version of the game and it treats those 5 recolors as different Skylanders. Dark Spyro and regular Spyro also have a different move set in that game too.

I played the 3ds version and don't remember that aspect, I didn't like the 3ds version as much as the console version since like you mentioned, you can't replay levels without going through the challenge again. regardless, the console version always takes priority over the 3ds version ;d

Oh for sure, I always preferred console Skylanders. The 3DS was just a fun and different way to play Skylanders and take them on the go!

I'm playing all these games for basically the first time this year, i tried it once at a cousin's when i was younger but i don't remember a lot about it, and i only have the 6 starter pack characters and Cynder so far but they're all really fun to me. Dark Spyro is the one I've used the most so far bc i like his black and silver look but Cynder is really fun too w her lightning and ghosts

my favourite skylander all time from spyro's adventure is obviously slam bam, I mean first off, he's an Ice yeti with 4 arms, how sick is that, second I love how powerful his punches are and his ice prisons, his third ability which gives him speed is very nice as well since he surfs on a ice board which technically it's a snowboard on land, on water it becomes a surf board. I also love snowboarding, it's one of my favourite sports. I feel like slam bam is the equivalent of bash but better, the reason I think slam bam is better than bash is because I did a pvp in swap force against my friend in a ring out mode and slam bam just did like 3 or 4 punches on his blizzard brawler path and I annihilated my friend with all those punches, as for bash, bash is great, though I feel like they nerfed him so heavily in swap force. Those are my reasons why I love slam bam so much and why he's my favourite of the 32.
