We are so incredibly lucky that these are still here. I will share this band until I die. I will never grow tired of this music. I have listened to them countless times. This and Death are my top. GEMS. Beyond incredible...

My ex and I used to listen to Made in Heights together, we both loved it. This video was actually uploaded on her 15th birthday, she's 22 now, married. Here I am enjoying a bittersweet nostalgic moment. The music is the important part.

I resonate with this. It's actually dangerous for me to listen to this album cause it resurfaces feelings of heartbreak and regret and can spiral me into a negative / hurt state

Me too. I can always resort to this album when I need to cry but can't. It hurts so much to close my eyes and remember. But I like it...reminds me how deeply my heart can feel when I've been numb for too long

Doubt anyone will see this comment but I had completely forgotten about this song until I saw a tweet today from Merriam Webster that the word of the day was Interabang. That triggered something in me but I couldn’t quite remember. I searched the word on Spotify but couldn’t find any familiar songs. Decided to try KZbin and thankfully rediscovered this amazing song. Currently on repeat. 🎧

Molly Pederson Sufjan Stevens wrote the original, which is the opener to his 2005 magnum opus Illinois, the piano instrumental is his but the remix with electronic elements and lyrics are hers. I highly recommend you check out Sufjan’s work.
@legakhsire4 жыл бұрын
@@GrayLZ sabzi wrote the instrumentals, not the female singer. Instrumentals belong solely to sabzi. Credit where credit is due.
@GrayLZ4 жыл бұрын
@@legakhsire My bad, I just assumed that the vocalist and the writer was the same person, should've done more research on that front. But the instrumentals are not SOLELY Sabzi, because by saying that they did ALL of the instrumentals, you're taking away the clear backbone of the song from the obvious melodic sampling of Concerning the UFO Sighting by Sufjan Stevens. Sabzi may have done all of the electronics, the mixing, the additional texturing, but they did not do the piano line.
I made a remix to this epic song , it's on my channel

Where did the instrumentals disappear too? The lyrical version isn't bad but I'm more of a instrumental lover so it's fucked up subzi got sued over his work. Shits fucked up. Give back the ownership.
