The summer is here and let's get ready to do another snow-hike (SNOW HIKE IN SUMMER??) over at the Skyline Lake Trail located right next to Steven's Pass in the central cascades of Washington. The skyline lake trail is a relatively easy hike with an ~2.7 mile round trip hike with an elevation gain of about 1100ft.
The time to get to the lake takes about 1 hour and surprisingly there is still quite a bit of snow over at the Skyline Lake Trail.
You'll likely still need some microspikes depending on how far in the summer we get here in the state of Washington. But more than likely as the weather starts to warm up, you'll likely require just good hiking shoes to make your way to the top.
The Skyline Lake Trail starts at the Steven's Ski Resort Parking lot right behind Lot G. There is a chargepoint charging station there for those of you who need to charge their vehicle. There are only 2 charging stations (out of 4) that are currently working at the moment until Steven's pass resort gets it fixed.
