Skylords Reborn - How to beat rPvE 10 with pure Frost

Last month featured one of the hardest solo rPvE maps we had in Skylords Reborn. Took this opportunity to make a video on how to approach such a difficult map with a pure Frost deck. Also included some general considerations I make when playing rPvE 10. I hope you enjoy the content!

Very well played and explained! To win against such a difficult map seed really shows how far Frost has come. It would have been unthinkable just a year ago. The elephant in the room is the skip of T3, but you made a strong case for justifying the use of Amii Monument. Glad to see new content coming!

Tyvm, i came back to the game recently and explaination in strategies and deck building like in this vid are exactly what im looking for. Would you consider doing guides like that for the other factions as well? i heard pure nature is not viable in rpve 10 but mby the power of nature patch changed that, hard to find content after that period on the forums or youtube.

Deckslot issue for WBG and skyelf sage or is that just too slow to put pressure? Cause you could just freeze the waves and send couple of units close to destroy buildings. Personally i have had great experience with that for these "small" maps. Small in the sense that they are 1p sized. Also maybe do a rpve10 with commons/uncommons only? IIRC i did few time on 1p solo before.

Just tuned in yesterday in the game because of the mail update. Could you do a review on the patch? I don't even have time to check what cards they added. I got the worldbreaker promo tho, Ocean buildings...... very fun. Bet it was toggy idea. Also I saw you first in pve league, how are those leagues woeking? Like speedrunning?

I tried to make some patch rundowns, but never got to finish them due to lack of time unfortunately. PvE events happen on a regular base, some are related to speedrunning, others work with a challenge/point system, depends on the rules (you can look up the forums event tab for more information).

@@radicalx4205 thanks for info. Always had an idea about twilight and bandit factions.. Could they implement to use bandit/twilight ti1 units that require two orbs at orb 1 but force the player to build their other color at orb 2? I feel so bad for those units never being used anywhere.. Maybe you can pass this idea forward

Claims frost is viable for rpve10. Still uses amii monument 🤣 Great breakdown of the t1-t3 stages though :)

@@Sharkmeal28 Yes it's pure frost, but using amii monument is a huge crutch. Not only does it save you time (having to clear t4 position) but it also saves tons of deck slots that would be needed in t3. Plus amii monument is straight-up cheaper than a regular monument. If a faction can't win without a broken neutral card, imo that faction is not viable.

Sorry, if I made it seem like Frost T3 is not good enough at T3 without Amii Monument. This particular mapseed was just very difficult due to multiple close camps + a boss unit around T4. Almost any T3 would've struggled with that to some extent. Coredredge (b) + Avatar + Frostshard is a solid and slot effective combination to play around, but this obviously does not come close to the value an Amii Monument provides for the reasons you mentioned.

Deckslots too tight for Wintertide? It should solve the knockback issue you're having with the Stone Hurlers and Crystal Fiends

In retrospect I would say that Wintertide would've been a better addition than Imperials for this map seed, I agree.

@@JohnJan721 Nothing happened. The game is doing better than ever. The developers have introduced lots of new stuff recently (They reworked the Lost Souls faction to make them stronger) and have planned a big update for April and this summer. They're also working on an AI so you can play PvP matches against the computer.
