Former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies says she supports President Trump's executive order to ban trans women in female sports.
She told Sky News she is passionate about "protecting the female category in sport."

They keep saying s*x and gender are different things. Sports categories have always been separated by s*x ie the biology of the human body, not someone’s idea of their own identity or cultural markers! They’ve been the ones that are trying to blur the lines with all this nonsense.

Not all sports, racing for example has always been mixed. Women haven't been succesful though, some exceptions to the rule exist. I don't think it's needed for bar sports like Darts and Snooker. I don't believe women are incapable of achieving similar skill nor intellect. But the physical difference is insurmountable on the elite level.

The issue of trans and LGBQTIA is real & difficult for many people but it is our response to it that makes the real importantdifference. A constructive response is best, not the usual dinosaur views like, full support vs hate. There is a male gender and a female gender and a trans state which is transisitioning to one or the other because of medical reasons. All three are perfectly valid and are normal and acceptable. There is a constructive middle ground on the whole issue. Such as non hate, not bullying, non violence, also mens and womens and trans/unisex toilets, changerooms and sports all separate.
