Fatima Payman debacle makes Anthony Albanese ‘look weak’: Costa

Former New South Wales Labor treasurer Michael Costa slams Senator Fatima Payman for crossing the floor to vote with the Greens on recognising a Palestinian state.
“I think Albanese looks weak on this issue, and people are going to ask the question whether he is weak because he shares some of the very opinions that she is expressing," he said.
“In terms of Payman, I think she should be expelled.”

If labour is worried about Muslim votes than non Muslim need to distance from labour in next election. They cannot appease the minorities at the expense of majority voters.
