I love how weather channels in the states (and assuredly other countries) show a bad color (red, black, purple) and try to show you that the temperatures are rising, yet if you go to a year or so before...in fact, any number of years...most of the time the temperatures were hotter but the colors were in the greens showing a moderate temperature. While it's true that plastic does leak toxins, they are no where as bad as paper straws which have a coating on them even more toxic for human life and the environment. BTW...I still own a box of plastic straws! A lot of our climate policies are from the swindler Al Gore who owns a seaside mansion...even though he claims the sea levels are rising. He claimed in the 1980's that there would be less glaciers in 10 years...we have more now than ever. We are paying for our demise by the policies they claim are to make us more conscientious about the environment. Another study came out from the EPA just last year showing that the air quality had actually improved as of the last decade over the US, and it wasn't due to going green. Did you know that if they implemented prizes or cash-back on recycling products (which only 5% of all rubbish put out for recycling actually gets recycled and which doing recycling is expensive to do) people might just be more inclined to recycle. Most people won't do something unless there's a gain in it for them! We are told clean water is running out, yet it takes around 150,000 tonnes of water per minute to make your precious EVs which are extremely dangerous and uses child slave labor. I was concerned when the initial propaganda was put out but when I saw big business get involved and start championing green causes late 1990s it triggered me to wake up. Just about nothing gets recycled in Australia, they just collect all the so called recycle portion of waste management then bundle it all up and send it to the third world so they can just burn it in the open poisoning their communities. No one cares about the environment in this day and age. Many claim they do but they're supporting processes that are terrible for the environment IE. So called renewable technology. Toxic batteries that are all going to blow up over time, toxic solar farms, toxic wind farms and so much of this toxic technology has been bought from China as well.
