Yep. There’s a good reason the Australian government cannot attract the best and brightest. Look at each states debt and remember, two thirds of the debt is held by foreign interests. Victoria $226Billion in debt, NSW $221 Billion, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania around the same in that order. WA has the lowest debt, but still in debt to foreign investors. What does it mean? Out of control inflation. If you really want to know what it means, drive across the country and count the numbers of people living rough in rest stops and small towns ( they call it the Van Life but it’s not much of a life when a single mother with 3 kids are living in a sedan). The Lucky Country?

When even recent migrants are saying immigration is out of control in Australia, you know you have a problem. Want to bring the cost of living down? You must dampen demand. The only way to do that is reign in immigration. in actual fact there needs to be a moratorium placed on immigration for at least 2 years. Zero immigration until we can sort this mess out and work out what a sustainable immigration number is. The sky won't fall. We stopped immigration to ZERO during c0vid and the sky did not fall.
