Douglas Murray praises JK Rowling's 'leadership' as she takes a stand on gender issues

Author Douglas Murray has applauded JK Rowling’s “leadership” as she continues to stand up to the Scotland government amid its new hate crime laws.
“This is what leadership actually looks like, and you find it in surprising places sometimes,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“JK Rowling has stepped up in a way that so few people have in our era, so many people just go along with whatever is demanded of them, say whatever they’re told to say.
“She has quite rightly, in my view, taken a stand on this particular issue, has said there is something wrong, actually wrong, about pretending that things are not as they are.
“They lead to terrible real-world consequences."

🇦🇺🇦🇺 as an Australian, I had and have no power over what happened in the past, I have been given Nothing for free, I have worked all my life to pay off my mortgage, and live on a pension that I have paid tax towards All my life!! I went to school with Aboriginal kids, and kids from greece, spain, uk, germany, france, Ukoslavia (as it was then), and we all played together, their parents came here to give their kids a better chance in life, the parents worked hard, the kids all learned English so we could all speak to each other, we were allowed to dress the same, share food, play, have sleep-overs, and there didnt seem to be the separation, or even the 'taught' hatred there is now!! Just like the black Americans now were never slaves, the black Australians have grown up with the same education and opportunities as any white person, you can choose to learn and work and better your life..... or you can choose to moan and gripe and complain and expect everything given to you for nothing.
