Me neither but so many are members now regardless of party. Harsh truth is, a large chunk of Brits abstained from voting because all the parties are terrible. Only 60% got up and voted. Maybe I have no right to say anything but this was the first time I actively abstained. in 35 years. Why give your vote to no party that represents you? They've all been flat out terrible in recent years with fumb duckery political ideologies. I used to vote Green because they were the least obnoxious..but yeah...Caroline Lucas and her ideologies put an end to that. The harsh reality is, those who abstained either didnt care or from people I talk to, didnt want to give any of them a vote. Many who did vote, voted Labour just to get the Tories out thinking that we would be better off. Well Labour managed to as much damage in 6 months as the Tories did in 16 years. So now, we get Farage on the benches, waiting his turn. The man we've been told to hate. Been lied to about it seems in many cases (but not all). The man who, if you support, makes you a bad person...if the BBC is to be listened to. He's next and we all know it now. They know it as well. Now they'll do whatever they can to stop him!

@@albertmitchell5349 That points to the exact problem that I'm highlighting, our outdated, unfair, and unfit-for-purpose FPTP system tends to produce entirely unrepresentative results. Admittedly the outcome was particularly distorted this time due to the intervention of Reform UK, but it can't ever be fair that Labour gained the support of barely a third of those who could actually be bothered to vote, and were then awarded almost two thirds of seats! The percentages here aren't in question, Labour were supported by just 20.2% of the entire electorate, or 33.6% of those choosing to vote, and yet gained an incredibly distorted landslide, quite clearly and entirely unrepresentative of the will of the people. Literally any known PR system would produce a much fairer outcome.

People in the UK must never ever forget just how treacherous the Labour Party has become and what a vote for them actually says about the person who gave it too them

I don't just dislike him. I hate him. What he has done to us pensioners and many others in the UK is disgraceful. He only cares about himself and his inflated ego.

Shame on BBC for not playing what the people want. How can that be impartial if the UK people have put the song at the top of the UK charts? WE PAY A LICENCE FEE. WE WANT THE SONG PLAYED ON THE RADIO STATIONS WE ARE PAYING FOR!

My issue with the song is that having no fuel at home isn't the problem, the problem is that companies have been given full reign to charge anything they like. Things like the cost of heating in winter should be capped to an affordable level, it's quite disgusting that it isn't the case!

The one and only important fact about this song is it's saying what so many of us feel and know only too well and hopefully the more the song is heard not just in the uk but outside the uk the better the song is pointing the finger of blame at ( and yes they are totally to blame and that is a fact) this government the Tories were bad enough these are even worse . This song is our voice let it be heard loud and clear ,

Pay your taxes to home folk that dislike us, it's disgusting the way harmer has treated the elderly and every indigenous Englishman for that matter
