It is nature. They do not, and still do not have, certain advantages that European culture has. They did not have military, economic and scientific capabilities like the Europeans. That is not the fault of European people, that is the fault of the natural forces of evolution. They are bitter about their lot in life. They resent that they were born so obviously disadvantaged. Other people with disadvantages can feel the same, like people from bad traumatic families, or gay people etc.

Is there ANY country on the planet that hasn't been conquered or colonized (call it what you will) by some other nation, race, etc. Not just once, but literally hundreds of times in some cases. The WHOLE planet has been shaped this way. When I went to school we we taught that subsequent waves of aboriginal people dispossess tribes already here, and forced them to migrate South. Not sure if this is fact, but who in their right mind would have chosen to just pass through the vastly more pleasant and futile parts of Australia to go live in freezing wet Tasmania.

@@JohnnyRingo-c5v I know of no attempt or document that denies the use of cannibalism amongst indigenous Australians. My understanding was it was mainly used on babies and small children as a means of population control. You would have to reference the data you refer to for me to evaluate it. Are you suggesting civilised cultures are not brutal. I might point out the thousands of Palestinian children dismembered by Israeli bombs or the thousands of German children burned to death in the firebombing of Dresden by allied Air forces. I could go on, how about the strapping of nail bombs to intellectually disabled girls and sending them into crowded markets by the Taliban. Yes cultures can be brutal, good point, as to what that proves escapes me.

The people who came here did exactly what God instructed. Read Genesis 1:28. Develop the land, plant and grow crops, tend animals. That is what is supposed to happen. Develop a nation, make it prosperous for everyone who lives here. Export and trade with other nations/countries for their benefit. Australia is blessed. 🇦🇺

Well historically speaking, the Jews were indigenous to the land for a fair bit then most of them left all around the world due to the Romans, Assyrian and Caliphate invasions. Then the Arabs came in and just settled the place and became Indigenous themselves. Then Jews just wanted to return because of some ideology. To be honest, I support the muslims since they are fairly not being treated well and getting attacked on the land they settled when the Jews were like oh time to come home and push these people away because I didn't stay to fight lol.

they have never even watched the movie, but are criticising it already. they’re drawing assumptions that the creators of the film never even hinted at. i have watched the film and it was amazing. it took them 5 years in culmination, so it definitely isn’t anything to do with the ‘dangerous times’. the documentary simply was revealing truths and history. if that is something you are uncomfortable with, that’s on you. it blows my mind how colonisers feel so insecure with their position that any and every thing can become a controversy. just say it as it is, you feel threatened by the truth of the discrimination and the heinous crimes against humanity committed by your colonial past.

This is like how the Vikings were the First to make contact with mainland Native American tribes. They arrived in 1000ad. The Iroquois first began using Long House technology in 1000ad. There is also the Iroquois story that has been passed down for over a thousand years of the Kingdom of Saguenay. Where the people were described to wear clothing that was the same as Europeans (not Deer skin or Pelts). Actual Cloth. Cloth was Rare if any North of the Rio Grand River. South of which in Mexico and into South America, textiles were much more common.

In WA, approximately 70% of young indigenous people in the juvenal justice system suffer from Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, which leads to among other things, reduced cognitive ability. This syndrome occurs because of alcohol abuse by the mother during pregnancy and is responsible for a lot of the anti social behaviour of indigenous youth. Until we tackle that problem, we will make little progress in alleviating aboriginal disadvantage. Of course, because of the past history of removing kids from their parents, no politician, of any persuasion is going to go anywhere near that issue. Therefore, we will continue spending vast sums of money trying to improve the situation, but with little chance of success.

Australia has been ‘discovered’ many times before and since our indigenous peoples came here. The Egyptian pharaohs used to come here because the last people who could commune with the stars lived here. I wish I could remember the details, but a female pharaoh wrote about it in a journal entry. If I am not mistaken, the people the pharaoh is speaking of are the same white people that were here when our indigenous brothers and sisters arrived; the ones who taught them how to hunt and live on this land, who became the Mimi spirits. This country holds more secrets than most people could imagine.

There are issues with the First Nation Australians, and they have to be addressed, but, to keep blaming current Australia for bad governance, from yesteryears is only to serve victimhood, and reparations. No solutions, just blame, cook? British?and modern Australia. Yes, colonialism did happen, do modern First Nations people think that this place was always going to be isolated from the rest of the world. All the activists I know, don’t address the people in remote areas, it’s all about city activists and the dollars thrown at them. Where are they, when Alice Springs went pair shaped, where are they when aboriginal women and kids are bashed and sexually abused. Nothing, just put the blame on colonialism. I have travelled this great country, and found some of the most generous, genuine, beautiful people in remote areas, I have also seen and felt the abusive, racist, violent, people as well. Most of the horrible people come from cities, or close to cities. The activists clearly forget about real First Nations people
