Sky News UK and Sky News Australia are two completely different companies owned by different entities. They are related only by name. As any reasonable fair minded person can see, Sky News UK along with ALL UK mainstream media, have for years increasingly become completely one sided in their reporting and are essentially propaganda outlets for the government. Any balanced reporting has disappeared. So much that is going on is not being reported, preventing people from seeing the facts and making their own minds up based on those facts. Control information, control the people. The BBC are no longer fit for purpose. Mainstream Media news outlets are just propaganda machines. The best I can work out is this is the regrettable but understandable result of what's been going on for years in the UK. -Marginalisation of people and values that constitute the majority norm - leading to fear and frustration. -Promotion of minority values and newcomers instead of "When in Rome..." - so unreasonable expectation. Mutual distrust and violence fomented and this is the result.

What do governments expect to happen when they ignore the concerns and will of the people they are there to serve? I for one, and many others too, have been predicting that something like this would happen for over a year. We have no media in the UK which isn't part of the establishment, except for GBNews (wavering, threatened with being closed by the state for daring to dissent), and TalkTV (part of News Corp and too big for the establishment here to bully but subject to corporate whim). Sadly, Sky UK is one of the most woke, racist, and offensive broadcasters in the country. Audiences for TV news dropped 72% in 4 years to end 2023 (Ofcom, the same regulator threatening to close GBNews) because no-one sane trusts a word the BBC or Sky say anymore.
