Why shouldn't Israelites stand with this PM. He is a strong hearted man who seeks no appeasement for Iran. No ceasefire until victory is achieved even if it means going headon with Iran.

Israeli here, He seems strong now, and we are all obviously very happy with the recent developments BUT For more than a decade now (except for 1 year break) he has been our prime minister. He is accused of multiple corruption cases, he is well known to only support himself and his political career, even if it means pointing far right extremists, like bengvir, to be our ministers. He also tried to change our court system in such a way that will make it impossible for them to cancel out illegal laws that the government will issue, even when they are clearly violeting the rights of minorities. Also, many here believe that he is the sole responsible for the 7/10 attack, because he had a policy where he would prefer Hamas over Fatah, because he though Hamas is too scared of doing anything, many even accuse him of giving out weapons and money to them on some circumstances. Another reason some blame him for that event is that he is accused of creating the biggest divide this country has ever seen (through hate campaigns on the opposition), Which made us weak and vulrenable. This is the view of about 50% of israelis.

In the last year, most of Israelis were busy with joining IDF and fighting, preparing endless meals for solders, donating everything it may be needed, helping mothers left alone home to manage between the only job in the family and 3+ children, supporting the hostages' families, volunteering in south were the farming needed help, taking in their homes displaced families from south and north of Israel (to mention only a few examples). The biggest hate campaigns I saw are the last year demonstrations probably organized by opposition. No one capable of organizing, approving or accepting the last year demonstrations deserves to be part of the Israel Government. For the rest of the "accusations" there will be plenty of time to investigate and accuse (with proves) after the war. A weak, individualist man lacking vision and love for his country doesn't become "strong now" overnight.

@@סנדהאנציו Hi I was just explaining him why about 50% of Israel is not all for BB and his government. No matter who is right, the state of Israeli politics is shit, and it feels like there are no suitable leaders who aren't corrupt. I am definitely not saying the opposition is better, I can't tell you 1 name that I think is suitable to be the next PM.
