Thanks for your explanation. I used vitamin C, Alpha arbutin and hyaluronic acid serums every other day but my t-point is brighter than my face I don't apply the serum on my t point but is still brighter and I used olay collagen peptide as my face cream

1/5 . Sometimes I forget to be gentle and rub the serum too strongly on my face , which does cause a lot of it to just stay on my palms , having the opposite effect to what I'm trying to achieve.

O/5! I’ve made none of these mistakes so far! Thanks! I’m using niacid at the moment. My second bottle, I’m praying this stuff works!! I have all my hopes in this tiny little bottle. I guess I’m about 2-3 months in, I do notice a difference in the softness of my skin, for scarring I’m not quite sure yet, some improvement, but I’m not giving up yet, I see enough promise I want to keep going. I use a serum for sensitive skin, it has prebiotics, hylauronic acid and rose water in it! I’m very new to the whole thing though, I’ve only used it twice and I’m not exactly sure what exactly it’s supposed to do, but anything that might help my skin is good, haha 😆 So far I’ve only committed the rubbing sin!

I use Khiels HA and Glycolic serums. Since I use them in the same day, I use GA serum first then HA serum. I don’t use the GA everyday, but when I do, I apply it first. I got 5/5 on the quiz, but it is because I asked a professional how to handle my skin issues. Thanks for the VERY informative video. Numbuzin no 3....( just started 10 days back but i feel its causing me to break out so gave a break and decided to use once a week if it can work well)..though it is making me glow and heal when comparing non acne skin area before and after.. i use it in my am routine and innisfree retinol cica repair ampuole. This one is very nice n really controls acne well. I use as night routine 2-3 times a week. I suffer from hormonal acne.

One major thing Ive heard is people say it burns their skin. The reason is that serums like hyaluronic acid absorb 3000x their weight in water so if you put it in dry skin it sucks the moisture out of the deeper layers of skin. Put it on damp skin and if it dries very quickly spray your face with water, wait, do it again until it stops feeling tight and takes a while to dry. I had this problem until I read that dry climates will do this. I hope this helps anyone reading

hello! does gentle exfoliaters work? i use the Axis Y PHA resurfacing glow peel and Axis Y Mugwort pore clarifying wash off pack as exfoliaters. then after washing them off, i use The Ordinary alpha arbutin & niacinamide as serums so does gently exfoliating helps with serum absorption? I use both Vitamin C, Retinol and Niacinamide at night before bed and in the morning, I only use Hyaluronic acid serum. Both times, I am cleansing my face before applying serums, but since I wash my face in a cleansing face wash containing Salicylic acid in the morning, I do not want to add retinol after a salicylic wash and also, vitamin C (and also Retinol) makes the skin prone to sun damage during daytime. Vitamin C and Niacinamide enhances each other, so they are great to combine. Hence, I use all the vitamin serums (3 serums) at night and the hyaluronic acid serum for moisture in the morning after a salicylic face wash. The order is always Vitamin C first, then Retinol and then Niacinamide (the last to have the same consistency). Niacinamide applied last to calm down any potential irritation.

Well, i do rub my serum but not that hot rub. Some of my serums are very runny so i need to rub it with the tip of my 3 fingers before i pat it till half dry then leave it air dry. Idk if this still categorized as rubbing or not but i'll try the patting method for the rest of the week then i can decide wheter it works better or not.
