Trilogy Media If you read my.novel length of a comment i put in section below you will understand this comment as at thr start thought was couple of smart asses jusy trying to ruen innocent persons day and make.them.as.miserable as you guys are! Exactly why the phrase and saying don't judge a book by its cover or don't make judgements until you actually know! Ashton your great and yes may have been rude and demeaning but was in a good way as is a big time eye opener. Art not only was your lifr story touching and honest and heartbreaking but it was motivational and genuine and downright INSPIRATIONAL! You in my eyes and mind are a great person and human being but you are a fucking HEEERROOOO!! As what you did for this scammer on phone and to be as honest an genuine and real honestly touched and hit me in someway that has never happened or drawn me in ad you did once starting talking!! I dont even know you ir even heard of you until i came across this and you have honestly touched me and given me some pride and passion and motivation to better my lifr and work and living environment but to also better my self as a Human Being! You are a true true inspiration and a truly genuine wonderful person and as you are IN general but definitely are to me in my eyes, You are a Hero and are MY HERO!!! I am not a Christian; They respected my religious beliefs. Infact, in my class, there were students from all religions. The private schools are very expensive, while the government schools are in very bad shape. As such the Catholic schools are doing very well in providing good quality education at affordable cost (For me 10 years ago the tution fee was just $100 for an entire year.

This scam guy needs to stop and think of what you offered him on the first video. If I had the offer to move to the USA I would snap the chance up in a blink of an eye. I have been going through trying to get me and my family a green card but it is so expensive and I even phoned one number here in the UK that was a scammer selling an advice pack for £300 for info that is available on the net.... Scammers are everywhere. You guys are doing a great job.

You are living in the UK? Why are you so anxious to move to the US? Just curious

James Wauters for what I want to do in life there are more choices available in the US for us as a family and also the weather is a lot better
@PhantomPhysics16 жыл бұрын
James- America still has the most freedoms than any other country. We’re perfect but the American dream is still real. An immigrant can come and make their dream come true with hard work. Anyone can come and build their business. Getting the green card is the hardest part
@JDubayu6 жыл бұрын
I was asking because I didn’t think the UK was that much worse than the US. I guess I’m a little ignorant, having only lived in the US and never having been to another country. It sad to see so many people living in the US just scraping by. Most of the time it is self induced. Here in the US I believe all you need is ambition and passion and you can do anything you want.
@DaveTheWoodBarber6 жыл бұрын

I want to tell you how much this series of videos has affected me. I often watch these scam videos, and see real value in the skills you communicate. These calls are scary! They are scripted (as he says) to be as scary as possible! Especially to older people who may not be so aware of the scammers mentality. Watching this series, and the way the call turned on a dime, got me totally choked up... This is a good kid... In his world, he's doing what he can to survive. He understands it's wrong, but doesn't see a way out. For you to reach out and directly offer help is truly inspiring. You're showing a path, and sparking a real possibility to change his life. Very heartwarming, and I wish all the best for this gentleman to find the right path, and chase his dreams of a better life.

Something I would love to see mentioned to one of these scammers is that the people they are scamming are likely not in much better of a financial situation than them, that taking money in such a manner, stealing it, could very well cost someone their house, or make them unable to afford food. The people running these scam jobs seem to think that America is filled with unlimited abundance, which is why they're totally okay with what they're doing. They don't realise we've got a rampant homeless population, we have poverty and violence and people just trying to make it from one day to the next. We have families living in houses that are falling down around them, unable to afford repairs, because every cent they earn goes toward trying to prevent their home from being taken away... This country isn't just Hollywood and glittering lights and pristine suburban towns. Much of this country is made up of real people just trying to scrape by. The people falling for the scams most often are not the wealthy folks that pop into their mind when they think of Americans. Would really, truly, love to witness one of these scammers having their eyes opened to that fact.

I have been to India and it isn't like a Western country where it can be difficult to get work with limited education. It can be difficult to get work with and education in a Western country sometimes. Leaving to find work is difficult if you you don't have the money to leave and if you have family you have to support it is even more difficult. It is worse than that in India and other developing nations. There are kids there who have never been to school a day in their lives. The caste system is illegal, yet I there was a question asking on a form what caste you are in when I had to go to the hospital. There have been changes but there are so many people there and so many small villages run by old men who run the place like it is the middle ages and the police often let them do what they want. Since he can speak English, his best bet is to try to get a job in a real call center but he may not be able to get to a city with them. We can judge him but the reality is he and his family have to eat. I am not saying what he is doing is right, because it is not, but his situation is not black and white. Many of us in Western countries are poor but poor there is usually worse than our poor where we can try to get help through social programs. There are some exceptions, such as some First Nation Reserves in Canada, but for the most part it is true. I have gone to bed hungry many times myself but I knew that since I had a pay cheque coming that it wouldn't be for long. If you don't work in India, you know that you and your family could starve to death before finding another job so people take what they can get and stay there as long as possible. If this man is to get a legal job, someone will have to help him to get to a city and enough money to live until he gets on his feet. He can't just pick up and leave.
@unknownhuman79196 жыл бұрын
Caste system is ingrained in genes of Indians.....rest of your comment is on point.
@sumzk4 жыл бұрын
@Brilliant Chaos nah the government today ain't that corrupt (it obviously is but not very much that everyone would be poor) It began with the British Imperialism, they were here for like 300 years and drenched as much as they can before they left in 1947. Since then the country has been growing slowly, yes the growth is very uneven and inconsistent over all parts cuz each state here has its own government Which functions at the roots and then there's another for the entire nation. Most of the poverty is just because their own ancestors were poor. The caste system (now not very prominent) denied a certain section of people all kinds of rights, expecting them to be slaves and workers. A lot of old people are illiterate, really really poor hence their kids were poor and it carries on. The country is growing but will not be on the level of European and western countries anytime soon, there are millions of rich people here and millions of poor, it's a little bit better than it was before but there's a long way to go Population is a huge problem, huge. There are hundreds of thousands of educated people without jobs. Last year, I ordered pizza , the delivery guy told me he was an engineer but could never find a job so he started delivering pizzas. Some are unemployed, some do such low paying stuff and some choose the wrong route (I'm only 16 so I don't know in depth of such stuff but I know the basic stuff that I've told you)

Hi guys, I came across the first part of this series earlier today and holy wow, has this had an impact on me. I've always had a negative opinion of scammers and realized after watching this last video that I've never thought of them as human beings. I totally thought the first video was a joke until I noticed the 2nd installment. Hearing that kid's story was heartbreaking, and now I'm wondering how many other people are stuck in a life like that, feeling like there's no way out. I never thought I would hear a scammer say that they are disappointed in themselves. That tugged at the heartstrings a bit. Thank you for giving him compassion and encouragement; my feeling is that he doesn't get very much of either. Art, I'm sure you hear this a lot, but you are quite the handsome man (your accent is awesome 😍) and I give you MAD props for coming to the US with $35 in your pocket and not speaking any English. I could never do that! When you mentioned your future wife I yelled "I'll be your future wife, Art!" at my monitor. There are many videos of people messing with scammers, wasting their time, and even getting revenge. But you guys have something new here. This series has educational value, human interest, and real insight into this culture of scamming. You mentioned that you are filmmakers. Ahmed Khalil his point is he doesn’t give a fuck about some dirt bag piece of shit that sits there and steals your money while you have to work for what you have and what money you have... I couldn’t care less about this guy that sits on his ass and steals peoples hard earned money

You guys are doing great work educating in a very funny way and in a meaningful way when interviewing these scammers. I have followed your lead by outing them in a more pleasant way (after many angry responses in prior calls I've received). ... I am met with the same honesty from them or they hang up..... Would you take your efforts to yet another level? I don't know with what exactly but I'm curious to know what the job market is like over there....it seems that most call centers are in India but I believe they are in other countries as well. Would you consider going after and exposing the owners of these call centers to remove the temptation of these desperate scammers? You two are one of humanitarian's best! Keep up the great work! Peace n love to you and to the desperate scammers who want a way out!

@L-Train 45 No, they don't. I'm not p.c. in the slightest, but your comment is not only rude, it's just false. People who know him will know his voice and more importantly the inflection and emphasis he uses. OP makes a valid point.

@L-Train 45 Totally understandable, dude. Jokes are fine :) I wasn't trying to get defensive, but some people are ignorant and they try to be hurtful when they make jokes like that. I just feel bad for the guy in the video.

Chances are people like him who are relatively new to scamming other probably don't like doing what they're doing but can justify their actions because of the conditions they live in. You guys can change more people and maybe help them find/create other opportunities. Keep on the grind, I like this series

Bless you, bless you, bless all three of you. I get these calls all day, all week. Every variation. They first just made me angry, and the more of these vids I watch, they increasingly break my heart. I understand their struggle to get anywhere seems insurmountable, and the propaganda they are fed about 'rich Americans' greases the slope to a life of crime against a people they only let themselves see as marks. You have educated this young man, for his and everyone's benefit. I try to not get angry when I connect with one, but I always say I know who they are, and that their scam would hurt me terribly if I fell for it and I hope they can choose a better life. I plan to develop a short educational piece about this subject and take it directly to the elderly. You are doing great work! Thank you.
