Yung mga bagay talaga beyond aesthetic ang na-appreciate ko. Like yung flow ng house, kung paano magiging functional, kung paano mo malilinis, garbage area and yung hugasan ng kahit ano (aside from dishes). Kasi pag nakatira ka na talaga, yun ang mga bagay na ipagpapasalamat mo na kinonsider nila. Ayos din na may built in cabinets na. Wow! This is maybe the most amazing and beautiful house I've seen in the Philippines. If the Skypod v1.0 is already beautiful, this one is in another level, you wouldn't think this is located in Cebu, Philippines but maybe in the Hollywood area in California. Everything is perfect! I love how he is so passionate during the tour. The excitement was raw and authentic! and whenever he mentions the word "family," you can see through his eyes how inspired he was in planning the whole house. rarely comments but i love how there is a balance among all rooms, minsan kasi parang tinipid nlng ung iba so ung design and everything is balance for all floors, all rooms. Halatang hindi tinipid sa mga gamit kasi normally kung ano pa ung mga small stuffs sa bahay, un ung ngiging costly pg madalas masira. I love how everything is so minimalist, but more than anything else e practical! It is so true when he said that the house was made for people to live easily...minsan kasi people care more about aesthetics but not the practicality of it. Kudos to Slater!!

The attention to details is what makes this house stay above the other architectured homes. Im soo happy with the soft closing cabinets and light switches, the window cutouts, etc. Its really the small minor deets that changes the game. I wish someday I can meet an Engineer with the same work ethics like Slater na kahit mahal, at mapapagastos ka is worth it nman and you get the value of your hard earned money. Not like others na not so cheap, not so expensive din, pero so-so lng din ang output, mapapagastos ka ulit sa renovation kse you are not contented at may mas ikakaganda pa sya. Would just like to ask your considerations on the privacy aspect of the entire house (access going to basement) considering that a subdivision may also be accessed by non-residents? Other than that, the entire team of architects and engineers were able to address the from the basic needs of the house to the users comfortable living. 👍🏻😲

I think this is a subdivision, so may guard and gate sa main entrance. High end subdivisions like this hindi basta2 nakakapasok ang non-residents and prolly will be escorted or the owner may have to pick up their visitors from the main entrace. And owners have options to put fence or gate within their premise.

If you listened carefully to him, all is being considered to make the house withstand or at least resist the natural forces of nature such as typhoon and earthquake. He is an intelligent engineer so he knows how to build a structure on any type of terrain or environment. The estate is ultra high-end development so they must have hired a team of engineers with excellent track records.

Beautiful design and construction! Great effort by all people putting their hands and brains into this project!👏👍 Just want to provide some friendly tips/critics which may benefit for other Skypod 2.0 buildings or your future projects: - Living room_pelmet. I noticed the ceiling pelmet is visible. Would be nicer with a recessed/hidden pelmet so the ceiling finishes flush. If there are any motorised blinds would be great to see them popping down in your vid. - Living room_joinery & AC. Usually I prefer full height joinery/cabinet (looks like touching the ceiling) which can avoid dust on top and exposed rangehood exhaust duct. I presume you are using split system AC and it is indeed visible. I would utilise bulkhead AC system and hide it in the bulkhead space above kitchen joinery. This can be applied the same for bedrooms, walk-in wardrobe, etc. In-built fridge may look flush and nicer, but it's very expensiv and harder to change in future. - Drainage adjacent to sliding doors. I saw 3x tile insert drainages which may not cover the entire opening. If you may have experienced that tile insert gets easily flooded in shower area due to its design of tight opening. There are some nice linear drainages out there which may look good on the big sliders. Ignore this comment if this window system already has a drainage system at the wn base subsill. - Personal preference regarding the garage. I am a big car enthusiast and I do like an enclosed garage so no rainwater, dust, flying rocks go onto my cars. - Round columns. I am not a fan of exposed columns. I can understand they are required next to the big sliders, but if the columns can be hidden inside the wall would improve the interior aesthetics. For example rectangulare columns can be dressed up to look like a wall. I.e: a round column inside first floor bathroom... - Toilets may looks nicer if they can be a wall hung and in-wall cistern. Although this wc system may not be the best for long term maintainance. - First floor bathroom window. Big privacy issue here even if planters and louvres are placed in front of the window. There is always one creepy dude with binocular watching into ppl's home, LOL, assume the worst case scenario. I suggest a switch on and off translucent window system called Switch Glass or Smart Glass. If your budget allow for this system, please get it installed, it will be very convenient for the end-users! This system can be applied to ensuite window as well :) - Looks like the house comprise of 3x levels. A lift system would made this home more luxury. . Most of the items above are design standards of a luxury apartment building in Australia. Hope the comments may assist with your future and current projects. All the best luck with Skypod 2.0 :)

Very satisfying yung functional building design for this house. Madami kasi houses and high-rise buildings ngayon na pagandahan lang sa hitsura but very hard to maintain, cumbersome layouts, and even non-functional roofs or canopy na mukhang maganda lang.

I think one of the best selling point to consider is when it actually withstood a super typhoon and/or a high magnitude earthquake. Of course including the slope stabilizations made in the surrounding areas aside from the structure itself. The buyer would be rest assured that this investment would be appreciating in the long term. Great view of Cebu!

Beautiful design, like a single-family and condo concept, you are up high but, not a kid-friendly to start. Perfect crib for mature couples, peace, and quiet with incredible views of the city. The problem is going to the property has too many tabi tabi and barbeque stalls and it's an eyesore. Paying for perfection it's not cheap. But, I love the location and the views. Thanks for sharing.

Slater, you mentioned that the glass walls on the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are located are good against strong typhoons. Not that I am being negative but our country always have earthquakes. Does this house have something that withstands against earthquakes? How about if there is continuous rain? Will the house withstand against land erosion? Avalanche of rocks? Sorry but I am just being realistic. No bashing please from readers.
