Having two wrathmen is just kinda op, especially for a pure mage. They take aggro like candy, and have enough health to absorb it. Would definitely recommend the spell, and the skills to strengthen it.

You have to remember that you can only summon karataag 3 times unless you use cheats or mods. If you’re playing without using any cheats, durnevhiir is easily the strongest summon

Rep both Durnehviir and Karstaag are from the Dawnguard DLC. Vanilla means without any DLC installed...FYI.

There should be another spell tome c for conjure reaper and its a master level spell that you can only find if you have level 90+ conjuration and you can find them on the alters behind the reapers you have to fight.Each reaper should have there own spell tome.Archer reaper has summon archer reaper spell tome etc.

Conjure Wrathman is my go to conjure in this game, the other being frost thrall.

If you are a low level become a vampire, and once you’re in there become a vampire lord through the magic menu, it will help a lot with this part of the quest, i did it at level 9

It would be really cool if you could expend a filled soul gem to upgrade the spells as you cast them. Like summon boneman with a greater soul gem to get a skeletal archer with comparable stats to the wrathman. TBH tho I have no idea how that would work with the given mechanics.

Late comment, but when you are summoning one of these undead. You are summoning active members of the Soul Guard. So, the upgrade wouldn't make sense. Though the newest Necromancy creation club mods essentially break that.

Don't go North East immediately after the first one. You'll find nothing but misty blue walls. Instead, go to where you're supposed to meet her mother and then go west for one and east for the other.

Mainly because of the map you developed at 2:37 into the video. It really puts all important locations into perspective and relation to each other. It makes it 1,000 times easier to find everything within the Soul Cairn. It took me less than a half hour to find everything I wanted/needed, whereas I used to have to spend hours or even days with previous characters looking for shit. Your map really takes the damn Easter egg hunt aspect out of the Soul Cairn. I no longer hate doing the Dawnguard quests. Thanks so much dude.

Bonemen are very good at killing frost breathing dragons as unlike flame atronachs, bonemen are resist to frost & they rarely miss their shots as the last dragon I brought down got peppered by 10 ancient nordic arrows fired by the 2 bonemen I summoned.

So which conjure do you guys prefer? Wrath man or Dremora lord? I would like to read your opinions. Tbh, I prefer the Dremora lord just for the high damage output. I feel like the sole purpose of the Wrath man is to distract enemies or tank damage while dealing some damage. But this is just my opinion.

SCP - 049 At the same time, Wrathman is undead which means that if you have the necromage perk, any buffs you cast on it will be more effective.

on my necromancer I used wrathman untill I reached 100 smithing and enchanting, so I was able to enchant my thralls weapons as well as improve them to deal more damage... then they finally started being stronger than dremoras or wrathmen

Yeah mate get serana as a follower, then when you finish the dawnguard main quest line (also side quests if you want the runehammer), she has the option to turn you into a vampire

Apocrypha is fine imo. I think the 'puzzles' are way too easy and time-consuming, but that's more a problem with Skyrim than just Apocrypha alone. The Soul Cairn is just way too big and fairly uninteresting, though.
