Hi, I wanted to ask since you list Lux in the description, you didn't run into any problems using it with all 5 Enb's or you only used it with certain ones?

Silent Horizons is my favorite. I like Rudy plenty and understand why it's the standard, but Silent Horizons less saturated but still colorful look helps me get into the vibe of Skyrim as I like to think of it.

I love the saturation, so Rudy is my favorite (in this list), but SH is brighter, so wish Rudy was brighter.

Playing with Grimm ENB has added a whole new atmosphere to the entire game. So, I'll be looking at Ominous ENB on my next playthrough. This stuff really adds to the flavor of mods like Beyond Reach... for those who have never gone there, I dare you to try it! Amazing!

Nice comparison. I was running Rudy a long time, gotta admit, though, that Silent Horizons gave Rudy a run for it's money.

So good to see a comparison of ENBs as they keep developing. My overall favourite is still Rudy, but Silent Horizons is a good second. Its contrast is just a little too high for indoor scenes. Thank you for still putting the effort into these vids even during the very difficult circumstances. EDIT - Actually Silent Horizons is now the choice for me. I prefer it's more neutral colour management for indoor/ruin scenes. Rudy blows out the red too much in comparison. Still a tough choice though.

My fave is Ominous ENB. I love putting the medieval movie filter on Skyrim. It's perfect!

They all look great, but my problem with most ENBs is they hardly get contrast right… They usually have those blown up whites and pitch black shadows. Ominous, in other hand, has no white at all. Rudy has the best colors in terms of realism, but in cloudy weather, it looks like everything is covered in smoke. I'm yet to find an ENB that I find really realistic. Anyways, all of these ones make Skyrim look like a new game.

I was using Picho but the performance cost was too high for my laptop.. thankfully I tried Silent Horizons because its amazing and runs better!

If you go take a look at the Rudy for Nat 3 tests that Rudy puts up on his channel, you will see that Rudy + Lux is absolutely insane looking for interiors.

@@beniciovalina6544 But for fantasy RPG, I prefer fantasy ENB. I want it to look different from real life; It's my escape from real life. I live in the Frozen North, so Skyrim is not my prefer setting regardless :)

My fav ENB’s in no particular order Ebony ENB No Hope ENB Berserkyr ENB Mara&Dibella ENB Ominous ENB Silent Horizons ENB A bit of a hot take maybe. But I’m so sick of Rudy. See it every where all the time. I know why it’s popular, but there are so many great ENB’s to mix it up

Tried Picta, but it's too dark at daylight, even at noon. Nights abs interiors are gorgeous. Don't know how to fix it

I prefer Pi-Cho ENB (which is based on Silent Horizons) in Combo with Azurite Weathers and the entire LUX Suite. So if i had to chosse from the 5 here, it would be Silent Horizons. Also Silent Horizons 2 Core is already is worth a look.

Silen Horizon looks better than Pi-Cho. Pi-Cho is too realistic looking.

@@wolfwilkopter2231 Yes, you prefer Witcher 3 look, while I prefer Witcher 2 look---hence why I'm using Ruby ENB with NAT. With Witcher 3 look, Pi-Cho would be my top choice as well.

Mostly a question of taste and I didn't tested neither Omnious nor FN, but PI-CHO is winning against all of those to my point of view.

I have Pi-Cho, switching to Rudy. Pi-Cho is perfect for realistic looking graphic, but I crave high fantasy graphic.

Sup. Most of ENB presets in SE have relatably similar FPS hit, including those showed in the video. FPS hit may differ, but not much, at least on preset's dafault settings. The difference up to 20-30 FPS between different presets is mostly applicable to Skyrim LE presets.

I'm not. Just saying I can relate why some people are not switching even from super old presets, because they hit their own visual preference bullseye. Even if a certain much newer preset is better technically in number of shaders supported, and even if it's inspired by some older preset, it still will never be literally 100% the same.

You confused me with someone else I guess. I'm modding both LE and SE for years, my videos feature modded SE for years, and my modding guides support both LE and SE for years.

@@SinitarG One suggestion I would like to add is for any other feature videos, to put two similar ENB (Rudy and Silent Horizon) next to each other instead of apart. It harder to tell the differences otherwise. Otherwise, great video!
