Watching your videos made me go through the torture of installing Nolvus. Im shocked how different Nolvus looks compared to your set up. Like day and night different. No idea how you managed to make it look like that but i give up on the dream, it's too time consuming trying to figure it out...

Likely a matter of ENB preset. Same as installing PRT XII for the first time, versus using vanilla ENB and your own settings. Night and day.

He's just using an other reshade preset (paywalled) that makes the difference in the visuals. Nolvus can't use paywalled stuff as it's a public list otherwise it would have been done a long time ago.

It’d be so awesome if you collabed with Vextor to integrate your mod setup into Nolvus. Most of us will never get this experience without some help from modding pros. Of course you don’t owe anyone anything. This is just wishful thinking on my part.

This Question has been asked so many times. the nukt addition to nolvus implies lot of paywalled mods (animations, dlss, reshade,..) that can not be shipped with the list or automated (obviously because they are not free). So even if i do that you will not have this list anyway (not the same nice animations, not the same color palette,...). Also i'm working on Nolvus v6 and does not have lot of time because this new list i'm working on will be massive

I just stumbled upon these videos recently, which in turn made me want to replay Skyrim and try out Nolvus to see if I could have an experience similar to these videos. Btw I appreciate all the hard work mod pros like you do in making mods more accessible for people like me. I’ve been into mods for a few years now but it can still be overwhelming at times.

I would like to ask about balancing dfficulty: you always seems to be able to do full combos, but in my case after lvl 20-25 I always find myself killing enemies with few hits. If I turn up difficulty, It only becames harder in the sense that I die in few hits, but I keep killing them too fast. How do you balance this?

I know in Nolvus there's a few combat mods. Tweak the MCM settings for them and that should help. SHOULD, as for this set up not sure if anything got added aside from Nolvus' stuff for combat.

I am playing on Master with hard-core from the Nolvus launchers settings. I run a dungeon party style game and most enemies are overleveled even the ones my level take three to five hits give or take.

@@Kamikazi91127 but on Master don't you die like in 2 or 3 hits from any overleveled mob? i've been playing on Expert, some bosses are quite tough but general enemies are very easy. I'm trying to balance that.

@volrathk yes and no. I run a dungeon party style game whenever I play Skyrim because I go for difficulty and it makes sense adventuring with a party. I have a tank, three dps, and a healer. Sometimes two dps and two healers. Plus whatever I run with right now a few fire balls end one's career. Had a Thalmor Mages kill me in two-three hits...man was just blasting too so dodging is key too.

Looks incredible as always. Would love to mod my own game but leave out a lot of the graphical improvements. Or at least pick the ones I want for myself. Just to get the game to run better on my rig. But I guess it will take a lot of time to study your load order and parse out what mods are related to combat. Are there important combat/animation mods you're using that are not on Nolvus?

Main combat mods i would get are ADXP/MCO, Precision and Valhalla combat. Stances if you want to run up to 4 movesets per weapon. Stagger mods and stagger animations also go a long way in helping balance out pacing when in combat with large groups. For actual movesets, i love Smooths For Honor movesets (Tho most is only available on their Patreon). I'd also look at getting Wheeler, especially if you're a controller player like me

Hey are you using reshade or not I have all the mods installed what settings are you using on upscaler? I have mine on 4 ultra quality and the preset 4 to match that did you change anything on ENB? I have the 40 series upscaler from pure darks dlss3 and the modified file for reshade but mine looks no where near the color of this lol. But it's not running ass smooth I lose a ton of fps when I hit white run and river wood. Any idea why this could be ? I already changed the ini files settings etc

It's just because he does not show the fps. Let him make a video while wandering in the whiterun tundra with fps counter on and you will see. Seeing some other videos he did, i think he uses dlss Ultra performance because the grass looks blurry at some places.

That's OBIS bandits for ya I love the mod but it goes a bit too hard on the bandits. I wouldn't mind running to a strong bandit rarely but with OBIS your run into them a lot same with Lawless when reaching higher levels.
