Fun Fact: It's probably not. The Hero of Kvatch may have been acting as Sheogorath for a short spell, but they still have a mortal soul, they do not possess a Daedric animus and never would be able to due to there being the existence of a mortal animus. Skyrim takes place 200 or some odd years after Oblivion. The average human in The Elder Scrolls only lives 80 years at the very most, and the Hero of Kvatch is canonically an Imperial. We already found out through the Knights of the Nine DLC that Daedric animus cannot be permanently expelled except by exceptionally special means, and you only destroyed Jyggalag's physical form, so the likely outcome was that the Hero of Kvatch was basically a babysitter for The Shivering Isles for a while. Jyggalag floated around who knows where in the wastes of Oblivion found nowhere to go because he had no realm anymore, he probably eventually became Sheogorath again as is the curse, found out that there was already a Sheogorath in the Shivering Isles (The Hero of Kvatch), thought it was a grand enough idea to let the Hero of Kvatch chill there so the real Sheogorath could go off on vacation, and then you find the real one, the half-Jyggalag one, after a 140 or so year vacation playing around in some mad emperor's head like it was a jungle gym for insanity. If it was the case that the Hero of Kvatch is permanently Sheogorath, then we would've had a quest for Jyggalag in Skyrim. Instead I don't think the game even references Jyggalag in any way.

@@lyricmoore Sure, but the Daedric Princes aren't specifically isolationists that do nothing but lay around in their realm the whole time. For the most part, they're omnipotent Gods that enjoy tampering with mortal affairs sometimes just to see what they can get away with behind the Aedra's backs, and the Daedric Sheogorath did mention that the Princes often times have parties, well I'm sure even if the Daedric Sheogorath didn't know, he found out and got right caught up after Mehrunes Dagon became the punchline to their jokes for the next couple hundred years. It's also possible that the Hero of Kvatch becoming Sheogorath basically combined his memories and knowledge to the Daedric one when he came to take back his realm. As far as the Hero of Kvatch achieving immortality and becoming a true Prince like that, nah. He just became Sheogorath in name only, and had some minor control of the realm. As Sheogorath said, "You're going to stop the Greymarch by becoming Me. Or a *version* of Me. You'll be powerful. Powerful enough to stop Jyggalag".

The lore has progressed since KotN and we need to look at things with new lore in mind, so there is a high likelyhood Sheo in TES5 is indeed the Hero of Kvatch.

Fun fact about the battle song done by Yates (fireborn) the chorus is made up of long time Death Battle fans. Also ngl this might be my favorite DB rn the set up/reason why they fight is perfect the animation is top notch the music if the most epic mash up of the Sources possible and it’s not just a planet busting spectacle like a lot of the best fights. This is a epic duel between 2 Demi god hero’s giving pretty much EVERYTHING they’ve got to complete the quest and save everyone. This isn’t just a fight for them this is something they HAVE to do. The moment when these two bust out their final weapons with the chorus blaring as they charge head first into one another is one of the most Hype pieces of animation Death Battle has ever made!

It's also kinda hard to say how the Undead in Dark Souls would compare with the Undead in The Elder Scrolls, so a lot of it is left to speculation and using common sense judgment. Considering no Undead souls in The Elder Scrolls count as Black Souls, including NPC undead (with the exception of a few certain Vampires), and there's a massive difference in the Chosen Undead's forms, it'll end up a long debate that will probably land in a nothingburger. Arkay basically determines what's a White Soul and a Black Soul and probably doesn't have any rulings on what the Chosen Undead's soul would be, considering they're in different universes and all. So for the sake of consistency, yeah, Azura's Star would probably work. It wouldn't end the Chosen Undead that easily, but the Dragonborn probably got a Grand Soul out of it, so that's nice, LOL.

That isn’t the case here. The chosen undead simply didn’t have a reason or goal to fight the Dragonborn unto potentially infinity. He knows he can’t win so the simplest solution is to stay dead until the Dragonborn leaves, then pop back up and move on with life.

And this isn't even getting into the *_DEEP_* lore of Elder Scrolls, like CHIM CHIM (yes, in all caps), is a sort of "Ascended" state where you have learned the truth of the world, and maintain your individuality (it's complicated) And the power of CHIM is described...literally like a player's abilities: Saving and Loading, console commands, seeing the wireframe of the game world, etc. It's why in Morrowind, Vivec, despite not particularly being on your side, will tell you upfront that he will _not_ strike first and will only fight you in self-defense Because he has achieved _understanding_ of CHIM, and knows that _you_ have achieved it. So challenging you in combat is an _exercise in futility,_ because _you_ are capable of retrying the duel an _infinite number of times._ Meaning you will, eventually, succeed and kill him in combat. And because of the nature of what those who have achieve CHIM are capable of, it's _heavily_ implied that _every_ player character has achieved CHIM So even _if_ the Chosen Undead won, there would be nothing stopping the Dragonborn from resetting existence to the point in time where they first initiated combat, and repeating this encounter until he eventually wins. Basically, reloading the save before the fight, just like we would. And again, that's just the surface. Fun fact, while Dovahkiin's official translation is dragonborn, alternate, unofficial interpretations translate dovahkiin as dov ah kiin (‘born to hunt dragonkind’). But here's the question... Does odahviing's soul go to- the dragonborn as is his godly right, or to the chosen undead as he struck the killing blow? I say Dovahkiin would steal the soul Miraak style, and a few responses I've gotten from this comment on other videos agree.

Well the soul is a dovah soul not a normal soul so it would go to the dovah kin. The chosen undead has a passive soul trap basically while dragons are unaffected by soul trap only being given true death by another dragon.

Even if CU could take the soul, his human soul would be overpowered by Dovahkiin’s dragon soul Also it’s totally possible for Dovahkiin to steal the souls of another’s kill; during the Miraak fight, he has three dragons helping him, and when his health gets low enough he kills them and consumes their souls to heal. If you kill them first and try to steal their souls, he’ll just eat them anyways (though this can still be an advantage as he won’t be able to heal later on) Not to mention that once you see Miraak for the first time, afterwards until you kill him he’ll sometimes show up when you kill a dragon, taunt you, then steal its soul (you get all the stolen souls after you defeat him)

Eh depends there were actually multiple ways the dB could beat cu, for instance turning cu into a sweet roll, hitting him with joor za frul and making him truly mortal, using mehrunes dagger to erase him from the universe or even just standing there as a vampire. The end game for the two are completely different considering you can make the dB truly immortal while the cu can't reach that point.

I've never played Dark Souls, so can some one verify if "Vow of Silence" specifically prevents you and others in your vicinity from speaking or just cancels out the use of magic. I ask because if it is the latter, then I think it wouldn't actually prevent the Dragonborn from using shouts since they don't actually utilize magicka to function.

so in game it stops magic period even for yourself in lore its not really said if it just stops them from talking as all the description says is "Secret rite of black-haired witch Velka. Prevents casting of magic within effect area. Velka, the Goddess of Sin, is a rogue deity, but she is versed in arts both new and old, and is considered to have a great range of influence even as gods are concerned." so unsure if it stops you from talking in turn unable to cast or just like a spell that negates magic

Dragonborn could also just whip out Spellbreaker to nullify the vow of silence. So technically it never could have even prevented them from using magic.

If you read Elder scrolls law, you would see that "Spellbreaker Silences mages before they perform their spell" and it was also strong enough to break a curse made by Azura a daedric prince who would be hyperversal in nature. Saying vow of silence could resist spellbreaker is a heavy reach.

Yes. Not to mention they give us 2 daedric weapons but no staffs, shields or armor? What about the Wabbajack or wearing Ebony armor. Heck, the Dragonborn didn't even have enchanted armor for this fight. I don't he even bothered to wear a ring or amulet. Plus, I don't play DS but they said Vow of Silence blocks spoken magic but only the Thu'um needs to be spoken, regular spells are just shot out of the hands.

That whole talk about Rooster Teeth...Let's face it, without Burnie Burns running the show anymore, Rooster Teeth has made a giant decline....Let's see what happened after Burnie left...RWBY is declining constantly, RVB Zero considered the WORST season of RVB, so bad it alienated older fans of the series to the point they never want to see any more episodes from this franchise, Nomad of Nowhere which was considered one of the best new additions to the Rooster Teeth library will not be seeing any future seasons after season 1, so one of the greatest new webtoons ever got cancelled after 1 season...A whole bunch of new webtoons that are generic as hell and no one cares, Sonic for Hire was revived for a Season 8 only to get cancelled again after that (Granted lowbrow is doing the Sonic Goes to College Season 9, but still)..and a whole bunch of other shit that I may not be aware of...Yeah, Death Battle really is the only thing keeping Rooster Teeth afloat...Burnie and the other originals, really should not have left
