As you Were It might seem weird now, but if you watched that fight live, you'd remember it was unavoidable as part of the fight week build up. I think Lacy suffered a serious rotator cuff injury after that fight and was never the same again. It made him look a lot worse than he really was in the years after.

Ward had words with Mayweather and the camps don’t like each other. That may have influenced the numbers there. Joe was damn good but I don’t see him beating ward personally. Ward is very Hopkins like, but younger he could fight the whole 12 rounds. I think the fight would mirror the Hopkins fight but ward being busier and not fading. Calzaghe really did struggle vs Hopkins. His punch output dropped. Ward would shut him down while still beating able to throw enough punches. Ward by a decision.

Everyone goes on about Jnr. in his prime, his team selected who he would fight too. I think that at one time they tried to get it on but Jones ignored it. The fight happened, both 'past it' but still Joe won. Eat it up Marcelo.
