Yes,Kumar Sangakkara according to me in his era is the best test and odi player. He was also quite ahead than kohli,root,smith in test also. he has 12,600 runs in test which is incredible.​@@mahindarajapaksa6308

This is genuinely world class TV. There is nothing like cricket coverage. As a football fan we get so much less insight than what sky produce for cricket. Such a great coversation. So interesting to see how bowlers with different assets and skills go about taking wickets

Steyn is the Greatest fast bowler of all time he would get angrier and faster as the day went and become more and more dangerous, pace, bounce, line, length and swing both ways. A batsmens nightmare.

Steyn’s competitive instincts didn’t allow him to abandon around the wicket line even though he was over pitching. He really wanted to get one right and beat the bat atleast once.

Steyn is probably the most passionate and the most skilled fast bowler in the last 10-15 years. He belongs to the exclusive club of Akram and McGrath.

If there was one bowler o would never want to face it was Steyn. He had so many ways to get a batsmen out it's unbelievable along with crazy swing and pace. He used to be like the hulk get faster and angrier as the day went.

At first, I thought Ian would play Dale, and I was like "Ian, you better stay in your lane!". Great players and great knowledge on bowling rhythm and skills. Broady is so humble for his level of achievements. Great to see you all and giving us some tips. Sanga, class as always!

He did sn interview many years ago, think not too long after he got 7 for in Nagpur (and 10 wickets in the match) and he said he just wanted to be fast through the air. Not worry about swing or seam, he just wanted to be as full and fast as he could be.

Steyn is the only overseas pace bowler to take 3 5-fers in Asia in the last 30 years. Mcgrath and Anderson took 1. He is the only bowler to take 7fer in India.

I didn't ever watch Ashes seriously, but did the last one. Will never forget the drama, the controversy along with Broad getting the audience involved, doing his bails thing, and then retiring. It was one of the best cricket-watching experience of my life. Thank you.

Both brill but how good are those drives from Kumar Sangakkara, even after retirement? I was musing why I can't hit the ball like that for my team and then realised it's because I have no talent. Still, have plenty of talent for drinking beer after the match so that kind of makes up for it, or, umm, something.

I would put Steyn in Top-5 bowlers of all-time behind Murali, McGrath, Akram... Par with Ambrose, Marshall Jimmy is in top 15 behind above 6 and Waqar, Hadlee, Warne, Donald, Barnes, Garner... Par with Holding, Walsh, Kumble, Kapil Dev, Imran Khan, Pollock, Lillee.... Better than next crop of Broad, Ashwin, Herath, Lyon !

Dale Steyn is one of the two all conditions and formats player in this century. McGrath is other. Anderson was good in 2012 India tour but nothing else in Asia, not so great record in Aus

this clouderson criticism and the narrative that jimmy's terrible in asia is just a blatant lie though... since the start of 2020 he's averaged around 23 in australia, 19 in pakistan, 16 in india, 10 in nz, 10 in SA, and around 8 in SL... crazy numbers in the same time period his *worst* record has been in ENGLAND of all places 🤣🤣🤣 so jimmy for the last 4-5 years at the very least, has not been a flat track bully in fact he's far from it
