I used to go to the darts here in Dublin as a kid (c. 2006-08), then I must say I stopped following the darts a lot from around 2012. But recently I re-discovered an interest and what a time to re-discover that interest as watching this leg and match tonight was incredible!! The way they were both scoring, it felt like a 9 darter was possible but definitely didn’t expect it like this. This is what live sport is all about, moments like these. Pure theatre, pure drama. The moment where every single person is begging for the 9 darter to go in and when it does, utter bedlam. The commentary never fails to deliver on these special moments and after hearing their both on a 9 ,I was fully absorbed and was hoping so badly that one would hit it, MVG coming so close, also made this that much sweeter and Smith just delivered when it mattered most. Certain moments in sport cannot and will not ever be forgotten and this is one of those Golden sporting moments. Man I love Darts and the sky coverage is class in a glass. 🍻
