Johnny Herbert makes too many mistakes and makes it more dangerous for everybody. He should be banned from ever being a steward again. Johnny resents others with great, natural talent and abuses his role as steward with petty vendettas. Somebody riding through red is a straight disqualification. It has always been like that, even for shumi and lewis. Not disqualifying Norris is a disgrace. Weakness in decision making should not be rewarded especially if it can result in death. Neither for Norris, nor for Herbert. Ask the other three stewards, why Johnny Herbert insisted on delaying these decisions, make it public and fire him for good.

His determination, pace ,focus, work ethic and the mindset not to be denied under any circumstances is well and truly going be a monumental task for any other driver to overcome. McLarens strategists need a long hard look in the mirror I’m not a lando fan but even I was screaming why the hell are they pitting him at the same time as the merc Especially with how high the chances were for an SC or a red flag, it was pure stupidity. Although lando hasn’t been brilliant his strategists have also cost him quite a lot of results like silverstone of the top of my head. They are not decisive enough and they don’t tell lando what he needs to do in order to be successful, they kinda listen to him too much which is not good. Unlike red bull who would tell max straight away what they think. Even at merc it’s the same except it’s the opposite Russel makes race winning decisions while Mercedes keep fuking it up over and over again. Russel was telling merc not to pit because a red flag was going to happen but then they still pit him anyway and look what happened.

What I've noticed (and this isn't Lando specifically) is that their too focused on what others are doing rather than themselves. There seems to be a lot of grasses pointing out minor infringements to try and get an edge. I've said before, that some are trying to achieve Max's standards or reach his level. However you can't put a square peg in a round hole. From listening to Martin and other drivers, Formula One is one of the few sports where the athlete needs to have tunnel vision. Senna, Schumacher, Hamilton and Max were/are machines and they devoted a large percentage of time, energy (and more) to their craft. This is Landos first taste of of a potential championship, so he does deserve some slack. But he does need to change some aspects of his driving. If we have this conversation next year, that's when it's time to ask questions.

Mclaren, as a team, lost momentum for the drivers championship after Monza, and that has cost Lando. When you have an opportunity to win the driver's championship, you should do all you can to win. Lando wasn't given priority, and that has cost him the driver's title.

Little Fraudo Norris folded like he always does. He's just not championship caliber. It should be Leclerc/Russell/Hamilton/Alonso in that car to challenge Max. Piastri will overtake Norris as McLarens top driver next season, so it's not all lost.

Norris will possibly learn a lot from this and become a more consistent and tougher driver next year after the winter break. Or not. Piastri almost certainly will get stronger. I'd rather see a proper title battle between Verstappen v Leclerc v Piastri. The others do a bit too much whining about "dangerous driving" and it becomes tiresome to listen to.
