While it should always be remembered that the bulk of the back to back promotion team was assembled by the previous manager Paul Cook, Kieran McKenna did a brilliant job of marshalling the squad, that on paper at least, looked a rag tag bunch of EFL journeymen into a premier league bound team. Brilliant effort by all involved, unbelievable season.

ITFC belongs in PL. So entertaining football. However the defence must improve drastically next season. Otherwise Haaland etc will "thank for the kindness". Recrute Alexander Isak from Newcastle to broaden and improve the offensive side from very good to great. Thanks to everyone in the club for a fantastic season.

Mate, thats not how football economics works. Ipswich can never and should never be trying to sign someone of his ilk. Cant be breaking the bank when you just got the money and were working on a shoestring budget before. Lots would need to be reinvested into the club infrastructure and long term sustainability.

Sounds like a longterm clever strateghy. What a great/interesting Journey ITFC is on at the moment. Really like the way their/our football is playied. Next season in PL: unfortunately we are an easy target if not the slightly naive defence is imroved rather much. Really looking forward to follow the lads the coming years. Now it is not very bad beeing än Ips addict (for over fourty years actuallr). All the best and I know that money is a far too much important ingrediance in todays top spirt/football. Top ten next season is however realistic.
