100% agree - driving home yesterday it was his sacking all the way.....and then he takes Training this morning. 18 months ago TalkSport (ALex Crook) proclaimed that "Steve Cooper was to be sacked the next day". Something DID happen the next day - he signed a new 2 year contract !! I like TalkSPort on the whole, but some of their reporters are too big for their boots.

Wouldn’t shock me if West Ham went for Michael Carrick instead. He’s done wonders with Middlesbrough, despite working on a shoe string budget and has made them one of the most entertaining clubs in the EFL to watch as a neutral. At to that he’s a Westy Ham academy graduate and i think he’d be perfect for the job.

Why is Graham Potter often seen as the answer to certain football teams' problems and why do people act like he's one of the best managers in the world? Apart from getting a couple of promotions in the lower divisions of Sweden, what has he actually achieved in football? He finished mid-table in his one season at Swansea, who, incidentally, got to the play-offs in the two seasons after he left, his Premier League win percentage at Brighton was very similar to Chris Hughton's and, like Swansea, Brighton were better off without him and he had a nightmare at Chelsea and has been out of work for about two years!

Potter would be a good option for Everton. New owners, new stadium, new start. He joined Chelsea at a terrible time, no one would have been able to make it work there. He would have a big point to prove as Everton manager, which would benefit us. Get rid of thelwell too - give the new manager (whomever it is) free rein to build his own squad and culture

I've been a West Ham supporter for 60 years, season ticket holder home and away for a considerable time. I'm ashamed of how our board treat people who are without doubt trying to do their best for the team, and that includes both David Moyes and Julen Lopetegui. The David Moyes era had run its course and my instinct is that Sullivan had Loppy lined up long in advance of Moyes's demise. Now we have this saga, where info is leaked to the media and a small group of ITK's to satisfy the ego of somebody very high on the club Board. I have never been a huge supporter of the 'Sullivan out' mob, particularly as he and David Gold (R.I.P.) did save the club from administration, but the treatment of both Moyes and Lopetegui is shameful.

I’d take Lopetegui at Everton if Potter goes to West Ham. I’m struggling to think of anyone who still plays such primitive “football” as Dyche. I remember Joe Kinnear from his Wimbledon days; Dyche makes him look positively progressive and dynamic. Any coach worth their salt can set up a team to defend.

I understand why WH fans want JLo gone, but I really don’t get why Everton fans are hating on Sean Dyche. The Everton squad is not BPL quality at all. The club are second only to Man Utd when it comes to poor transfers over the last 5 years and failed to keep two crucial players that would be doing well for them now in Onana and Gordon. Dyche has done well to keep the club in the BPL despite a points deduction last season and above water this season. That’s what he was brought in to do. Given that the club is up for sale, it does not make any sense to bring in someone else until the new owners put in their own structure since that new manager will probably get the sack anyway unless he is doing incredibly well. If I’m West Ham I’d go for Michael Carrick because he knows the club, has managed for a while in a difficult league and is more likely to inject confidence into their players. Graham looked like a broken man at Chelsea so it’s best to let another club take a chance on him first.
