Fans want their team to win and lead the league, not dangle in 13th after losing 6 of 15 games. Regardless, stats mean nothing when a player makes a howler of a mistake. The shot was saveable, and Onana looked lost and more of a spectator when Wood made contact with the cross from Morgan Gibbs-White. Where was Onana's "uncanny reaction speed" during that phase of the game? To conclude, Onana's overall performance in the match against Forest was awful. Period.

As a United fan I’m happy for Amorim to do what he is doing. Keeping trying different players in different roles, see who needs to go and who can cut it. Forget about this season and worry about next. Also these pundits are forgetting he’s arrived mid season with the team on a low and games coming thick and fast. He has a difficult job and he even said in his initial interviews that he will focus on the system rather than than kick the can down the road and adapt to get results but never have a system.
