The "Chin" in the fixed gear airplanes was an alternate area to hold Radios/equiptment. The 3 holes up front are for radio cooling. A plastic duct from the chin area is in the upper section of the nose gear well for the wiring to pass wiring through to the cabin. I have never found radios in there but the angle brackets and nutplates are set up to hold them in that chin area. Radios were bigger back then.

HI Mr Mark! Just Found your Chanel, and I Love it! Liked and Subd. The BEST THING about you and your channel is that you are not like other Aviators because you are interested in MORE then just aviation. I mean, how many other pilots can make a Chair out of a Barrel , catch Bob Cats, run a Hotel, and all the REst of it ??! Brilliant!

Greetings from Cape Town. I had a Cessna P206-0500 and I see this one is a P206-0391. Unfortunately I lost my P206 in April 2002 in a hangar fire, but I still have 2 U206”s.

1/ I had the unfortunate experience of a hundred odd hrs of the 2 blade 205 with its burnt out mufflers which ended up giving me a sick headache such that we had to get rid of it.....with a. 2/ 3 blade 206 of blissful 285 horses....a ripper newspaper 'truck'.... supplemented by a....3/. hideous 207... awkward clumsy , could descend without gaining speed it seemed ......there was no 'step' or feel. Circa Moorabbin 1963 - 73. Schutt Aviation were the local Cessna agent.

Mark, i want to see you start jumping in all these "real seats" and the occasional "child seat" getting in and out of the 2nd (or 3rd ) row is valuable information for potential cross shoppers...Also nobody wanted to call you today???

@skywagonuniversity502318 күн бұрын
207 is three feet longer than a 206. 1.5 feet in front and 1.5 feet behind the wings. Two front doors AND the rear double doors. Wider gear too.

I love my 182, but honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything Cessna (152, 172, 182, 206). Just plan your typical mission in terms of useful load, # passengers, and to some extent, speed.
