The "alien planet" vibe actually kinda works for this game when you consider that the planet is actually still relatively young (on a geological timescale) and the goddesses of the Zelda Universe only recently (again, on a geological timescale) created life on said planet... so the atmosphere probably isn't doing all of the raleigh scattering yet

It took me like 6 hours to set anything up. Im having so much fun with this rando. Especially not being bound to motion control right now. I admit they improved motion controls alot in HD version but sometimes i just dont feel like using it and now i can jsut use the button controls when i want and still play SS Randomizer, Thats awesome!

"Is it safe to do this on Switch?" Big N issues bans for 3 reasons: 1. Installing software *to the home menu* through non-eShop means 2. Getting reported for cheating or triggering anticheat in online games 3. Sending mismatched telemetry data, or otherwise abusing their network services None of those apply to a base Atmosphere install, and using game mods in single player should be safe enough.

@@pokedude720 That's the fun part: Atmosphere runs entirely from RAM, and doesn't modify the built-in storage. When you boot up a game, it loads mod files from an overlay filesystem in `/atmosphere/contents//*` on the SD card. It loads modified code from `./exefs/`, and modified assets from `./romfs/`. It also uses this system to launch homebrew, by entirely replacing the target game/applet in memory.

Ay gym, first time catching an upload so fast, I love your linear rando content, I feared you would never make it again, but here we are. I really, really hope Nintendo doesn't abandon linear structure entirely, especially in Zelda, as progression went from weak in BOTW to non-existent in TOTK.

I do find it ironic considering that Skyward Sword's linear structure was one of the big reasons it got so much hate back when it released, and fans were clamouring for a big change in the series due to how repetitive they felt the 3D Zelda formula was getting. Times certainly change

Characterization, world building, thematic scope, challenging/engaging mechanics, a compelling story. The last 2 Zeldas have been severely lacking in all those accounts except MAYBE worldbuilding. Though i'd argue even that is generic fantasy world #3 with a Zelda skin and names hastily piled atop it. Bring us back to this SS greatness. I'd rather have a small world with infinite purpose than an infinite world with no purpose.
