Honestly I wouldn't count the mechs as jumps. Everything in them is essentially a situation command. "It's a very distinct animation when Sora jumps on the players volition". I didn't make the rules ;)

This answer: I'm pretty sure it works this way when you lock on to an enemy with the mechs/gigas, it act like sora in a way where it tracks meaning if you lead enemies up the block stairs and hop in the gigas it might clip you up to hit the targeted enemies try tacked and see

i dont think the booster should count as jumping because not only is sora not physically jumping but the “jump” for the mech is really just using the boosters on its feet. it’s not lunging itself into the air like a regular jump would.

I was going to suggest this in Dream Drop Distance but the Flowmotion mechanic was in fact invented for that game and was a lot less restricted in that game which... completely breaks the challenge. it would probably be very entertaining to watch tho!

Honestly earlier than I was expecting. I was expecting the run to end at Corona with not being able to progress with Superjumps. Now I am curious to know how many jumps it takes to complete the games though. Not sure if that’s a journey you want to endure but can you beat KH1 with only the two jumps in the beginning and then avoid jumps after that? Or will it require 10 jumps. How many jumps/superjumps does it take in KH3. Would be fun to see.

seeing as kh1s world design is based on platforming i think its gonna take a lot more than 10 jumps , hollow bastion alone takes more than 10 so i doubt the other worlds will take less than 10 as well , especially with the likes of wonderland and agrabah

Then why not turn the challenge in a "how many jumps are mandatory" on the fly ? x) We're losing the challenge side of it, but it could still be interesting, and people would already be halfway in the video, those who had their answer and are not interested in the following question leave. I'm realising as I'm typing this it could be cause of watchtime issues :/

You have to try getting a mech to follow you all the way to the blocks

That was my thought. However it's possible that your teammates could kill the Mech before reaching the top.

@@nickel7o740 Nah the real problem is that they despawn as soon as you're too close to the structure you need to climb, they can't even get inside it. :/

why not use one of the heartless in the meks to go up, like have one follow you up to the top since they themselves can fly up. Sure it may be very hard to do that but theoretically, i think you can do that.

Would you be able to have the mechs knock out all your team so that they will follow only you to the top like at 10:23? I wasn't there for the stream an am not sure if you tried it already. If you haven't, I think that will be a good idea to try out.

KH1: The starting section requires melee attacks. If you hand wave that, then it would simply take a lot of grinding for munny for restorative items and letting your allies do all the work. Some spots still will be pretty close to impossible. KH COM: I can't remember what the starting deck looks like, but I think it is possible to beat the game without using melee cards. KH2: I think you have to win a few of the fights in the intro section...and you don't start with magic. If you look only at when you get to Sora, Then I believe it is possible. (At least if you allow melee damaging reaction commands) KH3: It will be very tedious, but I think it is more doable than 2. KH Days: Highly unlikely, since magic and special attacks have very limited uses. KH BBS: I can't remember if all starting command decks include magic attacks, if not, then no it is not possible. KH Coded: I think melee is needed KH x: Practically impossible, partially due to the tutorial, and partially due to needing to rely on Gacha to get different attacks. And you don't know which ones are going to look like magic or look like melee. KH DDD: I'm unsure about.
