I love your work on Skywind, it's really amazing. One thing though, I notice you make the vocals quieter than other instruments on purpose, but I think the vocals sound absolutely beautiful, I think it'd be better to make them stand out just a little more. The quiet singing leaves me wanting more vocals. Other than that, it's extraordinary, keep up the good work. I hope to hear this in Skywind c:

Saffron Polando I definitely understand what you mean, it's very tempting to emphasize the vocals more. But solo vocals, especially with lyrics, of course tends to draw much attantion to itself and I wanted to avoid that here, giving the music the role more of the voice of the nature. Not a song being played in the background, if that makes sense :) But I'll remember your suggestion going forward. Thanks for your kind words!

I was actually pretty close to not even record this passage with the vocalist, but she told she really wanted to since it was her favorite part of the song :) The reasoning behind that is that there's a risk of making the music to noticeable and taking much attention. Soule uses vocals in a very subtle way in TES and I didn't want to break the formula too much.

This is an awesome song! sounds like it could be part of a Morrowind movie! It did not make me cringe in any way like a lot of fanmade music does. It is a perfect length and I want to listen to it over and over again. I am recommending it to others. Actually, this Skywind soundtrack sounds more like it is meant for a movie than a video game. This is the best song in this soundtrack.
