2020s performance was their announcement for being apart of Kingdom. 2021s performance starts out with a mixture of their NOEASY album with a Kingdom performance (ep9)

2020 MAMA never fails to tell me that the stars align for skz haha like performing victory song and claiming victory during kingdom 2021 fit the "make some noise" theme so much that some part are REALLY loud and noisy esp those guns (hyunjin's play with fire skzplayer prior to the performance made his fire swords more LIT than it already is)-thunderous has SO MANY renditions, especially love the xmas special 2022 pissed me off with the audience zoom outs. like the spider is least of my problems, even if it is still my problem during chan's rap (and while hyune is so tiny during his descent, it fits the image of the spider's web, camera zoomed out too much tho) the storytelling of their stage featuring hyune and felix is a masterpiece tho coz it ties in the whole oddinary story. also Maniac is so hype and exhausting just seeing them sprint at the end (it reminded me of their God's D4 on kingdom, but now instead of their breathing, we hear the crowd screaming)

A little background story for this performance: Straykids werent supposed to perform at all at the Mama2020 since they were not nominated, which again was a huge shock 🤯 to everyone, taking into consideration of the outcome of God's menu success🏆 SOOOO the only reason why they DID perform was to actually introduce kingdom. ( can't wait for YOU to watch it) 😍 And worst part Mama didn't give them any time to prepare or rehearse and top of it treated them like crap. So this performance was basically SKZ giving mama and MNET a giant F you and The way SKZ did not sing a title track at mama (Gods menú) was a 👌🏼. CHANGBIN'S The "DONT YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE!!???!! Really sends it home. God I love them!! AND They used Victory song as a way to show Them that they didn't need MAMA 🏆BECAUSE they were already winners. 8:23 haha remember king felly moment cuz it will be mentioned in 2kidsroom Felix-Changbin😍😍 10:53 its a collab between THE BOYZ X ATEEZ X Stray Kids, Triangular Fight

Thank you so much Cely for your reactions to the MAMA performances. It wasn't so much the quality but the camera's I think they use. I watched them all in real time and it was the same. When ever an idol was moving around the view would be blurred but if they stood still the camera would be more in focus and clear. All 3 years was like that but it did seem to improve a little this year. And I think that this is also the case when they are on any MNet performances. Also these versions of the song are all remixed for the MAMA performances and to match the concept and them especially Victory song and Cheese. The 2020 MAMA was when MNet announced they were going to be on the Kingdom show and only gave them a couple of weeks to prepare where they had already announced all the other participating groups. The dance off with Hyunjin was Jyyeon from The Boyz (who when the first 2020 Kingdom show), then San from Ateez. and in 2020 there was no audience because the world was on lock down due to Covid. 2021 MAMA was after Stray Kids won Kingdom. Also Hyunjin did a solo dance piece in the intro of MAMA awards for 2021 with a few other solo dance from idols. It was amazing intro and one of my favorite parts of 2021 kingdom. Not sure if you wanted any of the mini trailers from stray kids before the release an album. They usually last 2-4 min and give you the concept. The No Easy thunderous trailer was all about the sound monster. No Easy is there 2nd full album and stray kids was getting so much hate especially winning kingdom. Haters calling their music noisy in reference to Gods Menu and Side Effect songs. So they named their album No Easy (sounds like noisy) and the title track called Thunderous because they are the noisy ones and thunder is loud. Basically saying they are going to make their music no matter what you like or what the haters say. Cheese is also a dis track to the hatters and a play on words like Thunderous. there is 14 tracks on No Easy album and we have 10 videos on that album. The trailer for Oddinary is about letting go of what society calls normal and be unique and it is okay to be oddinary. So this 2022 performance was playing off their concept in the trailer and a much need to view to understand the concept. Yea MAMA has a lot of hatters because of who they treat some groups or idols and how they pick the awards. A lot of idols wont stand up to them, but G-Dragon has before and so did G-idl on her performance for 2022. There were a lot of great performances and a lot of the women groups and idols won a lot of awards this year. It was very weird to see such a weird imbalance. Despite all that I am happy for all the winners this year. I am not about saying one group or idol works harder than another because that is not true. To me they all deserve awards in my book just for working hard. k-pop idols, groups all work so hard and are the best in entertainment. If I had to choose to see go to Grammy's or go to MAMA or AAA awards, I would got to MAMA or AAA because their performances are so much more entertaining. And don't think I am saying USA/western are not good or talented I am saying you get more from k-pop performance. Unless it is Lyndsey Sterling the violinist who is amazing and so entertaining for violinist.

Mama 2020 victory song "Dont you know who we are" part is actually not part of original victory song. They added that part here and still use it for their Maniac concerts. Also MAMA 2020 Hyunjin picked up the crown but never put it on the head. Yes, he was robbed of Kingdom but did it take away his crown? NOPE. At the end of Victory song performed in Maniac tour, he has been symbolizing the crown and putting it on top of his head 👑

“Is that leeknow?” Yeah, that’s a definite no. Lol. Leeknow would/has never worn any tops that would show any skin, especially in the belly area. And i agree with the camera work of the 2022 mama performance. They’re angles and framing didn’t do their performance justice.

Ahh I am slightly sad you only reacted to the performances from then and not all their moments 😭 Because in the earliers years there is a few of my fave performances that you now missed out on 😭 but glad you reacted nonetheless 🫶🏻 My next suggestion would be to react to everything from the years before that too because it really shows their growth and it’s so incredible to see. And a few performances in 2018 and 2019 are actually a few of my faves!

MAMA 2022 camera work was AWFUL! Zooming out in the worst moments, like with Han's part in Venom, Changbin's popping, etc and only taking sort of interest with Hyunjin and Felix and occasionally I.N (PLEASE DONT GET ME WRONG, LOVE THEM SO MUCH, BUT EVERY MEMBER DESERVED SCREEN TIME) I've seen fancams and omg, they all slayed, they even added new choreo and we literally could not appreciate it because of the poor cam work. Also, Chan said that MAMA 2022 performance almost did'nt happened, not sure why, but he said it got really complicated and for some reason they were rehearsing this performance in what seems to be a fast food court of some kind. STILL THOUGH, it was for me, the best performance of MAMA 22, but I enjoyed a little bit more the 2020 and 2021 performances
