At times this season I've been critical of Frick's subs. Whether that's who he brings on/off or the timing of them. Today he made 3 at the exact right time. SG started the second half really well, hit the bar, Loretz made a save as well. It was looking like they were going to go on and win it. Then the subs. M Meyer, Chader and Haas all enter. Meyer immediately shows his experience by getting on the ball, passing it to a team mate and we were right back in the game. Haas added defensive stability as well. The goal was amazing because if you watch the entire build up, we kept the ball for around 70-80 seconds in their half. We almost lost it but Chader did amazing to get it back, spread the play to the right where Ulrich laid it on a plate for Klidje to tap in. Great goal. Overall we deserved to win. First half we edged it, 46-60 they were on top, 65-90 we were. So yeah, well done to the lads and another clean sheet. A word on Lofgren as well, man he's been IMMENSE since he came in. No surprise with him in the defence, the clean sheets have returned.
