On the forager that collects the grass there is a barrel of formic acid that spreads evenly over the grass. This keeps the grass from developing sugars and makes it more tasty to the cows

Lots of very wet silage. Is tedding an option? Greetings from Wales 🏴
@torsteinskjerping63373 жыл бұрын
Its not very common to do tedding in this area because of the wet conditions we have here on the West Coast of Norway.

What is that triangular quick coupler on the front end loader used for? I know that from the front three point hitch but never seen it on a loader. Looks like all your loader tractors have that.
@torsteinskjerping63373 жыл бұрын
Its very common to have triangle quick coupler on the frontloader here, so u can use the same equipment on the loader as the three point hitch😊
@TheMONTREYJACK19933 жыл бұрын
They are called a frames it saves having attach the 3 point linkage all the time you just attach the bracket to your implements and link them together. Its quick and safe

@@torsteinskjerping6337 Thank you! Are the quick coupler adapters for the front loader home made or can you by them? You know where to get them?

Are you adding any chemical to those round bales? Looks like they're baled still wet/green. Here, we let it lay a day or 2 before we round bale, otherwise, big chance of fire. Yes, they will heat up inside and combust. Cheers :)
@torsteinskjerping63373 жыл бұрын
Normaly farmers here adds a liquid to keep it from developing sugar and make a good fermenting process, but the roundbales in this video is not added any type of liquid but still has a good quality and no chance of fire. If the weather plays along we use to let the grass dry for a day, but with the wet weather conditions here on the West Coast of Norway its not always we have time or chance to let it dry before roundbaling.

@paulfearn13712 жыл бұрын
@@torsteinskjerping6337 oh sorry, it means cutting grass and feeding it directly to the cows, some farms do this and never let cows outdoors, its not my idea of how to keep cows ,ours graze
@torsteinskjerping63372 жыл бұрын
@@paulfearn1371 no we usually cut it for silage not for feeding directly to the cows. In Norway we have rules that the cows must be minimum 8 weeks outside.
