from what i found out with these things is they have a bug when you feed them it stops you from seeing there tame and not being able to feed them again but its an easy fix just go into your inventory.

They are SO HARD to tame! I definitely think that the devs need to fix how much they run away. I tamed one earlier today and she absolutely never walked up to me asking for food like they should if they're passive tames and "Curious". But I love her so much now that I have her.

+Crazii Craft Try using kibble (dodo eggs). And don't come too close to them. If they run away, don't chase them immediately. I tamed a lvl 43 in under 5 Minutes. It's really easy if you know how to do it. Good luck next time!

+Joshua Slento We ended up spawning one in at the end of the vid there. We had found a couple, lost them all, had the one at the base bug out and we weren't able to tame it. Had to let it go. Looked around for another hour or so and decided it would be ok to spawn one to test and tame. It was a low lvl and we tamed it legit. I don't like doing it that way but I feel like it was justified in this instance. This isn't something we normally do on the server. :)

Slip must be some kind of monkey throwing prodigy, since he was strangely good at giganto toss tooWhich gives me an amazing and hilarious idea. Do Giganto toss with these; Giganto thows you, and then you throw the monkey for bonus points or something.You could also try playing Monkey basketball with these guys. They are a smaller size than the poops and wouldn't get stuck as easily.

The strat is to not sprint around them. Try and crouch/prone and stay behind them to avoid line of sight, that way they're less likely to freak out and run away.

When you enable wandering around, the monkeys get berries for you. So if you have about 2-3 ... you can have berries ready for your recipes... ;)

The best way to tame one of these is in the talons of a flying dino, and have a friend feed the Meso. They like Amarberries the most, apart from Kibble.

the monkeys will only run if you get too close. Dont get too close otherwise it will get scared and run. Approach them slowly and when the Feed to tame bar pops up, then you should be able to feed it without it running.
