These Southwest pilots are wild west cowboys with those taxi speeds. Every Southwest plane I've been on is in a hurry. 🤣

What a ridiculous comment. EVERY plane has to be in a "hurry" for take off, cursing and landing. You can't slow on an airplane. They can't fly at 65 mph'

@@michael91411 what are you even talking about? I know that an aircraft must maintain a minimum speed in order to fly. My comment specifically references taxi speeds. They are known for being a "a bit quick" on taxiways. I am really not certain what you're on about. Makes no sense really.

30 knot taxi speed according to several SWA captains I've spoken to. Honestly, that's usually a VERY common taxi speed for airliners. If you go to any airport and just watch the planes as they taxi on the ramp, taxiways, or where ever and they're moving right along. As a Cessna pilot myself, we taxi at around half that speed or slower.

At @41.14 you can actually make out a straight lighter coloured line under the port winglet, which is Grand Canyon National Park Airport, just south of Tusayan. And just right on screen (north, and north east in reality) is the Grand Canyon Village and Grandview Point (plus other viewing areas on the South Rim). Forgot to bring an extra pair of shorts, but I survived. We were told under no circumstances to get up from our seat.
