Hey wow.. I started playing around on my first slacken in JTree around 2001 and then got super into it when I moved back East. There was no scene there at all but I did what I could. I was alway jealous of everyone back in CA, UT, and CO who had an active community and were doing some really amazing stuff. Just found your website this evening and being away from the sport for a while I didn't know stuff like this was in existence. I used to dream of such a piece of equipment like the LineGrip and the Ram Lock. Really cool for me to see this kind of stuff! Cheers. :)

Awesome video showing the process. Quick question. Would you still configure the pulleys above the line on super long lines that require anchor points to be like 6-7 ft up? What size Van Beest shackle are you using on the pulleys at the anchor point? Finally, Would you recommend using a rigging plate to facilitate anchoring the pulleys vs a secondary sling if one isnt using the AWL 4.0? Thanks!

Balance Community Holy, that was a quick response. Thank you! I figured it might take a bit longer since the pulleys have to be reset (somewhat regretting buying the 3" PMPs after watching you videos. so heavy). would the 7/16 VB be OK in that 1" webbing in a basket config? I only have the 1/2" ones and am concerned about the tight radius of the bow on 7/16" over stressing the webbing. Lasty, what's your opinion on a delta link in place of that Van Beet and a twist link (twist shackle) to connect the Linegrip to the pulleys (3" SMC). It seems like rotating the pulley 90deg works best since the pulleys are so wide that they interfere. Sorry for all the questions and thank you!

Balance Community great insight, thanks. Have you ever used the 7/16" VB as your main anchor shackles? Would they even fit industrial slings and pulleys properly given the small size. Like i mentiomed earlier I'm currently using the 1/2" on the anchor points but they're heavy (350g vs 190g). thanks!
