Great episode, especially the reminder to enjoy the races, no matter the themes, the medals, etc. No matter what, runDisney races are better than 99% of other organized races

Okay Lindz and Legendary Bill Stewart, you all hit me on branching out and getting out of my comfort zone. My struggle for the last 2 challenges to ask you all to run with you if we are in the same corral ❤❤ It makes me happy to see you all on the course but don't want to mess up your vibes.

This is my favorite Slacker Symposium to date! Meredith’s advice about managing a work-life balance is such good advice 😂 Also, I have no idea how we’re gonna top Living with the Land, lol

We set bars just to leap over them. I don't know if anyone's ever said that quote before....maybe an Olympic high jumper....but we shall eye to behold that goal!

To the costumes, thank you all for your service :) Dopeyfornia was it dumb? Yes. Ragret it? No. Do it again? Possible since it's not back to back weekends now. Dopey again? Yes. PTO - prepare the others. Love it Mere!

My ragret this season was the Springtime 10-miler. I was in a bad mental place about my performance; thought I could make it up to myself on the back half; and missed a chance to run with my friends, while still disappointing my self in regard to performance. I really like all of y’all, and I’m happy that we weaseled our way into the group. Can’t wait to see ya at Peachtree!

Mr. Tiki, I am excited you are joining us at Slackers Camp for Peachtree and joining us for our adventures!

I am doing my first Dopey in 2025. I’ll need all the help I can get, so I will definitely want to join this awesome group of folks!

Awesome! It's true that we can all encourage each other during training (or 'training') and even during the actual races.

My biggest ragert was taking that pill to calm me down for the flight on expo day and on 5k day it hadn’t worn off. Don’t have much memory of that day lolol.

If I didn't have videos to help me remember what happened on certain expo days, I'd not have much memory of those events either!

@kimmyrunstheworld My wife and I have run/ walked past you and your sisters a few times last year during training. Hope to see you on the trail again this fall.

Peachtree 2024....can I run with y'all?

YES I would love this!! 😀

@@linzreed Although in full disclosure, for this race, Paddy, you may have to choose. You can run Peachtree, or you can Peachtree with us, but not both. 😉I expect most of Peachtree this year is going to be more parade than race. Or maybe better put: "a tribute to all recreational activities, but mostly walking." Your call, but you are more than welcome!

@@Kunkel5 but come to think of it, the Stewart & Kunkel children (#SlackerYouthCorrespondents) are good option for running buddies if one actually wants to run LOL
@PJOontheGO6 ай бұрын
@@Kunkel5 The Peachtree is for sure a tribute to all recreational activities like consuming donuts and beer in the middle of Peachtree St. while on parade with 50,000 of your friends! Running is most of the time very overrated!

@@linzreed running the Peachtree is best left to the #slackerYouthCorrespondents!

@@oxandspoon Sorry if this came off wrong, it's a joke with my sister and I. And don't ask me the difference between a commonwealth and state.

No worries! I looked it up too and I don't remember the difference!
