This was Slade at their best how good was Noddy Holder as the front man said to be the loudest voice in rock and roll even by today's standards they just dont compare. Thanks Slade for the great music and times i had the opportunity to live in as a youth.

It's also important to note, just how hard Dave, Jim and The Banging Man, worked on stage. Definitely a four piece, rather than a lead singer and his backing band.

@@guydertinger5676 Funny, I saw Deep Purple at the Felt Forum, right after they put out Who Do We Think We Are?, which they played no songs from that album in the concert. It was the softest rock concert I ever heard. Read the band had problems around that time, maybe with Gillian. Anyway, saw Slade twice, the loudest band both times I ever heard. Second loudest, Rod Stewart, at New Haven Colosseum. Maybe I saw Slade there, too. I think the other time was in Radio City Music Hall in NYC.

For me, this is the best rendition of John Sebastion's, Darling Be Home Soon. I'm not a fan of Sebastion, but he wrote one hell of a song when he wrote this one. However, it took Slade to turn a very good song into something amazing and great. Speaking of great, there are, so far, only four live recordings that have been released that I would deem great, and, they are: Slade: Slade Alive, Frank Sinatra: Sinatra At The Sands, Lou Reed: Rock And Roll Animal, and Ella Fitzgerald, Ella In Rome: The Birthday Concert. Disclaimer: Titles subject to change. Titles included are my opinions, but only my opinions really matter. Lol.
