Me too; heard Get Down Get With It and nagged my parents for Slade Alive for Xmas, still have, still play it. Probably the most over looked and unappreciated British Rock group ever. Someone once described Noddy as having a voice like a cut throat razor, greatest descricption I have ever heard.

This was actually the first time I had ever heard of SLADE in 1981. A school chum of the time came back from a family visit to the U.K. and he brought home A 45 of LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS...3 years later KEEP YOUR HANDS OFF MY POWER SUPPLY was released in Canada and the U.S. It's such a shame that SLADE never really did maintain the same commercial success in the 70's outside of britan and Europe.
