I miss the 90’s so much. People laugh at FMV, but to me it brings back great memories of mid-90’s technological experimentation, the early days of the mass internet, IRC, AOL trial discs, and just overall good, simpler times.

Um, Juice? A moment of your time, if you will... you did notice that this is *SLAM* City, yes? Not Trey Town, not Layup Village, *SLAM EXXING CITY!* Hell, a lot of Ace's slam dunks are trampoline / air cushion assisted, so why Digital Pictures didn't play up the fantasy a bit and use that to also have Juice make a few backboard breaking jams is quite unfortunate (it would add some cheese to the walnuts and dressing on this FMV salad, but it would be GOOD cheese.)

To anyone confused about the gameplay or think it's impossible to play, I promise you it's not hard. There's a method to the gameplay's madness: The four players represent increasing difficulty (Fingers, Juice, Mad Dog, and Smash), you play one-on-one with each. On offense, you got 10 seconds on the clock to shoot (but only when you've got enough in your meter on the left to guarantee it) or wait for an opening to drive to the hoop (if you hit the "sweet spot" you can make an over-the-top dunk), but also dodge their attempt to steal the ball from you. On defense, they got 10 seconds to score, and you gotta block their opening to drive, be ready to block their shot, or hit their opening to steal the ball and score. On the controller, you can move Ace side-to-side across the screen. It's about picking and choosing the right time to make your shots, blocks, drives, and steals...all of which earns you more Respect. Get a Billion "Respect points," and you go up against Scottie.
