Our family are cat people. We understand that our feline friends are nocturnal and many like to be outside in the dark. Our cats were desexed at the age recommended by a Vet and well cared for as we do for each other. We have ever only kept one cat at a time. Like any thing, its possible to have too many. This is the feline equivalent of urban over crowding in Asia and South America. A domestic cat that is cared for responsibly prefers comfort warmth and comfort over hunting. That's our experience. But cats neglected, forced by that to fend for themselves.and feed from their natural instincts territorial marking and defence. To register cats with the expectation that this will solve a very real problem is likely to not acheive much other than increasing the sales of cat ID collors.
