Well said Duncan, when people resort to this type of behavior it is very clear who has the problem. As I understand it this bill is going nowhere as the other parties wont support it. If that is correct why all the hatred. If you have lost any friends over it Duncan, they are a friend not worth having. Keep up the great work.

Did you know Duncan, that I am being made to feel uncomfortable for saying 'Kia ora' when I greet the cashier at the shop. What kind of New Zealand are we living in when an innocent 'Kia ora' is met with animosity?where am I living? (Kia Ora means hello, I hope you are in good health). I am saying 'Kia ora' and the reaction I am getting, it's like I am doing a hold up or something. I do not want to feel forced to not say 'Kia ora'. Shocking stuff for 2024.

😢❤ Sending you big hugs and posi vibes freedom of speech and the right to free speech and debate has come to an all time meltdown unfortunately for the poorer illiterate tax payers they have radicalized their possition not the discourse to oppose more I feel it has created a racial outrage of politicizing more how we should be the mainstream media and politicians have bn in bed 🛏 all along while the high commisioners and office bureaucracy have allowed this to happen with the backing of 🏦 banks and their elitist circles of people who only look after their interests first. Im seeing this more with our iwi and the people they choose to surround themselves with and are worried our next generation are getting screwed over and hoodwinked here.

That's a bit of an assumption that "we" are all worried about the future of this country, our country. Adapt or die, has underpinned all life on planet Earth.

When one political party goes more radical it casues the other side to do the same. I feel this all started with the last government with jacinda , all her radical reforms has created people to become anti maori which is sad as prior to her government maori culture was welcomed but since her its made people uncomfortable due to it being forcefully shoved down everyone throats Maori culture is part of us but when anything is forced it creates resistances
@JimmyJenks-u8vКүн бұрын
Those peeps were already anti Maori. I grew up with many old white guys being severely racist and trying to convince me to join the club. I saw them for who they were, angry and confused old men. Nothing has changed, now they are trying to convince others cursed with the same anger and confusion. Maori culture is our culture as New Zealanders, it's not separate. There is no 'appropriate' threshold. It is about intolerance and ignorance and just plain racism.

If you care about equality of rights and responsibility... all who support the Bill need to do a couple important things first. Over 26,000 Hectares of Maori Land locked in perpetual leases right now. Maori owners not allowed to charge Fair market rates and make a Fair income for over 100 years. Thousands of acres of Maori Land on 99 year leases. Many not paying a Fair lease rate (many not paying anything) for decades now, which is reason enough to break lease. Some say 'but look at the improvements I have made' but you haven't paid a Fair Lease fee for decades, viewing it just as 'Maori Land'. Take the buildings and move onto other Land where you get Free or extremely low lease rates. Fair Treatment? Equality? These Lease agreements are modern day scamming and theft over a span of 50,60,70,80,90,100 plus years. Until these unequal Treatment of Maori get rectified, all who support the Bill are HYPOCRITES❤

You're a strange one, history's one thing that's happening, history is fact, time can not be changed, it's the evolution of time, that shit happened you can't change it by making it up, who knows for a fact that something happened if nobody was there to see it and make an actual accurate account of it, instead we have to believe someones story handed down generation, like Chinese whispers, of course there's discrepancies here and there land was confiscated some had to be for the future of NZ some for punishmen, that was life evolving in NZ, people were killed on both sides people died that was life, do you think the people of this era who have no connection should be burdened with yesterday's atrocities, get over it, the world has changed for the better for all, shop playing the VICTIM.
