His father Dajuan Wagner, has been training him since he was small plus he’s very athletic. He was very good at football. His grandfather Milt Wagner, played for Camden High school, Louisville and the Lakers, his father holds that school record of over 3,000 pts and scoring a hundred points in a game. Out of all the things he does well what sticks out the most to me is how ambidextrous he is, how comfortable he is, and his court awareness. He has his go to moves and finishes that he can perform equally as good with both hands. While driving or finishing he is aware of where his teammates are and who is open, so if him getting open fails, he can assist an open teammate a bucket every time.

He has a smoothness to his game. Very high Basketball IQ and can go left hand or right hand anytime he wants! He was prepared extremely well by Wagner elders. You can see aspects of their games in his game yet he’s made it his own. Unique, mature, sure shot basketball prodigy!!!

His grandfather Milt is still one of my all-time UofL players! Good for DJ and I'll be rooting for him no matter what he decides to do. My guess is he needs to do what Scoot Henderson did and get into one of those D-Leagues. Time is so fleeting that you have to ca$h in while you can. I always liked Dejaun as well and was not angry at him when he chose to attend Memphis. I can't believe I am watching Milt Wagner's grandson! Time just flies and once again I wish DJ nothing but the best. Can't wait to start collecting his trading cards!

His scoring instincts and movements are identical to his fathers. A lot of hop steps and two foot gathers. He just has more new era size ups and off the dribble shooting packages. Also his father was a bit more explosive and was pretty thick for a hs kid, but he’s still young so that could happen to him too. Very good player tho, and that scoring ability runs generations deep in his family

Seems like a good player and a good kid not taking nothing away from him. His game however looks alittle dependent on being a big guard. Not the quickest fastest or most athletic just knows how to get a bucket. I’m sure he’ll do great in college he’s fundamental you can tell Dajuan really worked with him at an early age. I just hope he can continue his success at the pro level but seems like a step down in talent from the Derrick Roses and Russell Westbrooks of my generations. Not a knock just notice in the talent differential of top players of the classes today 💯
@yuno93563 жыл бұрын
"not the fastest" u good Michael ? . He outruns all those guys. His effort is unmatched and he's perfected his fundamentals. This kid is #1 for a reason
@juliusnirving61203 жыл бұрын
I see where your coming from, vertically he isn’t as explosive as the Derrick roses and Russell Westbrooks, but on the ground in terms of speed and quickness they look pretty even if not it’s pretty close he’s not to far off, from the games I’ve watched he’s looked like the quickest/fastest on the court, and if we’re being honest his skills are more mature, and advanced then those guys at this stage. It’s funny people were saying similar stuff about kyrie coming out of college comparing him to players like John wall and Derrick rose saying he wasn’t as athletic as them.
@monstersavage52453 жыл бұрын

Bronny has no game he’s all shoot and dunk over confident, flashy he’s just being hyped cause he’s Lebron’s son. Is Bronny even ranked nationally yet? Bronny is more bull in the china closet trying to be a showman. Most reports are saying is younger brother Bryce’s game is better than Bronny. He’s not impressive the school basketball program is only being publicized cause Lebron attends his sons games and brings other celebrities along. I don’t think Bronny can handle hood like style game. Wagner plays in the public school hood system. He has the humbleness yet he has the drive/quiet hunger to go very father. Bronny, is not going to be able to adjust to that style of play I think he going to be like his dad whine whenever he don’t like how a play is called
