As an AR 60 low spender. I think this so called end game is so disappointing and restricting. Because it serves none neither the casual or META players. Not to mention after compromising on abyss reset.

How does it not serve meta players? Im a returning player and only have up to when ayaka was released and i made it up to floor 7. Im sure that players who have been consistently playing the meta should have little to no trouble in this event. All my ar60 friends have completed floor 8 so whats up with you?

I promise you, the only people I see complaining about this game mode are people who only build one or two elements. Which, that is your business, I always say play how you want. That said, genshin has always been about elemental reactions how you gonna cry when they make stuff tailored to specific elements. You handicapped yourself and that is on you. It is that simple.

That's called playing META my friend.( This is from an AR 60 low spender).Its funny enough when you say play how you want and who you want and then expect players to build characters they don't like or won't even play after using it in this so called end game mode. Because no casual player is going to take the pain of farming like hell for artifacts, weapons and mats even for their main and for multiple characters well don't even ask about it.And for META players like me it's more worth to grind and work on characters that can make you deal huge DMG or finish those 4 million hp bosses quicker rather than building a dori. Not to mention spending times on guides to improve reaction DMG and team building while the new mode gives you random characters to play, like a noob building a team.So who exactly is the end game serving too? Especially when you have compromised the abyss reset rewards and locked it behind a 14 man compulsory mode with limited usage on every character which I can't even choose at will. Why is it so restricted in a casual game?

Imo they can keep this mode to casual/new players, but if they dont want release new content for us > lategame AR60, at least give us more abyss floors.

Now, this game mode has many things to be criticized, but the elemental restriction is not one of them as they allow THREE of the seven elements. I am not expecting anyone to build any character they do not like, please refrain from putting words in my mouth because that is not what I said. What I am saying is that if you are someone who only wants to play ONE element/character then do that. That just means this game mode is not for you and why I DO think that abyss should have been kept the same for those who do not like it. From day one, genshin has been a game about the elements and how they interact with each other. Having an element restricted mode is not as wild as people are making it. There is literally certain content that people can't beat/struggle with because of elemental compatibility. And on the note of casual players/it being a casual game. Genshin has a player base that is not casual, so it's not always going to have content geared toward the casuals all the time. The fact of the matter is that not everything can or should be tailored to casual players or even the non-casuals. At a glance you can tell this game mode was not intended for people who play casually and more so people who like to build characters and max states. Which tbh, is me being generous since my own characters aren't built that well and I did not have a hard time.

@@commasui525 Huh ? Listen, i wont build any Character i never play just for doing this half assed Game Mode. So why force us doing it ? At the same Time they changed Spiral Abyss for that. Hoyo cooked and burnt the entire kitchen. Its half assed in so many Ways, why not letting us use 3 Guest Characters in Hard mode ? Why those Elemental Restrictions ? Imagine Geo, we have 7 Geo Characters, most of us might have 3-4. Yeah have Fun. Building one Character takles alot of Resources and Time not everyone has. I rather want this Game mode removed and the old Spiral Abyss back instead.

@@Maitotoxin theyre not "forcing" you to do anything. its an endgame mode, its suppose to be like that. the devs are aware that not everyone has a built character, which is why you have trial and friend characters. which is why you have easy and a medium mode. this game mode resets just like the abyss, then comes new elements, and new trial characters

Mihoyo have guts to call it a challenge xD. Almost 4 entire years with millions and biliions of dollars$$ to release some content for endgame players and they made this [character test here] 8min stage xDDD [yes a freaking arena with timer again]. REally, you can easily 8stars it using free characters with garbage build, there's no reason to get even a single constellation and farm good artifacts to peak your characters anymore. We only have a SINGLE endgame content that is [ABYSS 12], and even this STAGE 12 you can have a easy time as endgame f2p. I pity those who play thousands of dollars to have c6/r5 and nothing to do besides walk and collect grass in the world map. This must be a joke before they release a real endgame content in the next patch [but they dont].

@@YorinSenpai hmmm they are already loosing a tremendous amounts of their loyal fans and players, who are shifting to another game or totally leaving gatcha game, I feel they'll loose a lot this year and untill the story ends there won't be anyone left to play, they are coming from mind boggling highs in sumeru to literally downgrading themself in fontaine, i couldn't imagine what'll happen in natlan, they're out of idea's now coz they're facing high competition while previously they were ruling the segment idk what happened to the Dev's and creator's they just couldn't do much justice with fontaine whereas sumeru was just perfection

@@jin.pa3k Lmaoo. I didn't want to reply to any comments but your comment give me a chance to say this. I have evey 4 star characters but not Kaveh. Most of them are C6. I have 26-27 5 star characters. C3 Furina and all the standard banner characters. Bro my account is stacked and well built. This end game is just ass and full of rng with no synergy. It's evident it's mostly to counter some meta teams and characters like Nevui brut forcing content, while also pushing players to pull for other characters to increase their revenue. Genshin did the mistake of not balancing Dendro reactions and Nevui which they can't nerf directly lol. It was a big mistake but this not the way by forcing players to play what they recommend. I'm getting free primogems from this content and it feel like a chore to do because it not enjoyable.

There are so many players didn't do their quests because they don't want. Others don't explore thier map. Don't stress out on the content that was not enjoyable.
