how 2 slapbattle popular: stop making gloves that are either able to oneshot randomly or be bland just by niche mechanic. make gloves have more special interactions with each other, even if they are small details it still would be a neat addition. add more gloves. maybe 1 badge glove + 1 slap glove could work. make cooler glove ideas, rework some gloves that could easily have more fun and silly abilities. make slap gloves that actually are higher than god hand, it gives players a more brighter motive than the grind towards the flex (which literally does just the same amount of stuff as error, so maybe GIVE IT A DAMN ABILITY THAT PLAYERS DESERVE?) add more gamemodes, for an example: Builder's world, a gamemode that only allows the following build-based gloves to be equipped: Brick, Fort, Engineer, Snowball, Moai, Trap, Tinkerer, Obby, Tycoon, and Oven. you could also arguably add all rock gloves, hammer, pusher, defense, wormhole, boogie, voodoo, slapple [redacted], and mitten too, but that might be stretching the idea of building something. other simpler gamemode ideas include Badge only, with the default glove being plague (arguably the easiest badge to get), and all other badge gloves are available, entering the gamemode requires the badge for becoming infected by plague (obvious reasons) Slaps only, where only slap gloves are allowed (and possibly the gamepass/subscription gloves but idk) Random mode, where you gain a special glove exclusive to said gamemode, called Randomness, which has an ability that uses ANY active ability from any glove. the passive of the glove could also be randomized upon spawning in, and randomized again upon using an active ability. anyways i think i've made quite a long essay, feel free to criticize any of the ideas or gamemodes i made up.

honestly I think the issue is that once you get good at the mechanical skill, and get god glove, there's nothing fun to do. The gloves that require badges are incredibly frustrating to get due to them taking 10 hours to get and the gloves themselves being fun for 2 seconds. The game's update has been quantity over quality and there's barely any quality.

It's true, slap battles hasn't had anything new except getting new gloves and using them, that's it. And a lot of them are difficult to get. So it practically pointless. They should just has some boss fight event or have new and different maps or events players could do. Like an infection facility with different glove abilities kind of event or something to make it a little better but the game has been getting dry and I used to play it a lot until I just stopped

Sad thing is slap battles youtubers are usually stuck in a curse, if you dont play the game for a long time or you post content besides slap battles, you can expect to get low amounts of views(if you are aiming for views only) but if you can only post sb content then it quickly becomes boring and repetitive since you can't record or post other types of roblox content

Honestly the entire reason sb is so boring is cus of the costant updates I'd rather wait 2-3 weeks or even a month for a sb upd instead of 1 upd a week which is just insane It makes gloves look buggy and rushed and hella boring to play A month would let tencell have time to actually make 2-3 new gloves and also other stuff like map reworks(really needed, current map is boring af) and sometimes even a new gamemode

main reason i quit was badge difficulty, here are examples Trap because it is quite literally a trap to get, insane hard to get and is TRASH Berserk because it requires an insanely specific setup of other hard gloves to get Rob wasn't necessarily hard to get, it was just finding the people to do it with and just like trap, wasn't that good. (Might add more)

Honestly, i also stopped playing. Its been so boring with or gloves you get instantly like slap goves, goves that require big gring, necromancer, or gloves that are insanly hard to get. It just got boring, so boring in fact i didnt even grind necromancer or even played slap battles during halloween. Not only stopped playing of its boredom but also because i started playing terraria and now im beeting calamity mod. As of now im pre yharon. That's sad, when i first played the last badge glove was detonator and god hand was only 14k slap, the game was so simple and fun, the gloves was cool and not hard, it was so good the game, until the leash update, it was so hard that i stopped played for a while, i lose some gloves, and just entered sometimes, until rob glove came, i really wanted it, then i got, i was happy, but then hard gloves came, ofc i play and try to get the glove but its not the same thing, its not that simple game i had fun playing.

Honestly slap battles is getting worse and worse, I remember all of the previous gloves being such fun to both obtain and use, such as orbit, hybrid, voodoo, booster and leash, but a few weeks after the weekly glove schedule, Tencell kept making boring gloves that have the weirdest badges as well as the most obnoxious/useless abilities. (Druid, alchemist, RNG, confusion, moai) Not only that, but also that we are pretty much only getting gloves as an update, with the only exception being the new UI update. What I think Tencell should do is add more gamemodes or improve the current ones, changing the main map of the game, or changing the functionality of some gloves or their obtainment, since some of them are completely stupid. (look at sparky for example.) There are so many possible ways Tencell can improve his game, but he's restricting himself from doing so by forcing himself to build a completely new glove every week. I hope the game gets more fun soon.

Play ability war it has better update, more bosses,mastery for you to grind, trying out devour of soul (aw killstreak) it go up to 300 and you still have more ability for you to try and have fun with it,it even has event that slap battles don't have such as: Easter (egg hunt).

Slap battles is getting VERY stale and the new gloves they make are pretty eh. It’s mainly because of the games repetitiveness, I believe. If it had more things about it, it would be more addicting. The idea of the game itself is not the most ‘come back everyday’ type of thing, since the game is only about gloves. That’s it. Another game similar to Slap Battles, (Ability Wars) also gets stale, since all it is is fighting with abilities. There isn’t really anything that is worth coming back for in this game.
