SLASH 1 16 VXL Sand track Action

Yet another slomo. This is my 1/16 slash vxl in it's element. The ideel track for a traxxas Vxl is a short sand track. GREAT FUN.

Great video. The slow mo makes it much nicer to watch, you can actually see what the car is doing. I just bought that exact truck and I'm loving it. I gave up on trying to hit 50mph though, I just kept rolling it. Now I'm sticking to offroad fun. I had a hard time deciding between the 1/10 or the 1/16, but I'm glad I got the small one, it's the perfect size for the pump track jumps at the new mountain bike park near my house.

Cool video. I love my mini slash almost as much as my 1\10 slash. Its so easy to control on loose dirt and the 4 wheel roosts are always cool to watch in slow motion.

Traxxas sells 2 splitter type connectors for running 2 batteries at the same time. The series one puts it over 50mph, the parrallel one doubles the battery capacity for longer run times, but I find it also increases the speed some. I've done some successful 50mph runs now by lowering the suspension. It's an adrenaline rush to hit that top speed knowing that if you lose control and hit an obstical, it's all over.

@MegaModelMan Eh.. It's alright. It's pretty zippy fast but it breaks a little too easy. The Pin lock to hold the battery in broke and it also takes sharp turns too fast so it flips a lot. It's pretty decent but I do think the slash would be better. It could take more punishment then the mini desert buggy can....

@MrFowla34 I would rather upgrade my 1/10 than trading it in fir the 1/16 model. Get a hold of a brushless system like the VXL or the cheaper EZ-run. The 1/16th tends to role alot on most surfaces in my opinion. regards

@MegaModelMan Yeah I didnt get one. I got a Losi MiniDesertBuggy instead. I had the option to take it back but I didnt know if it was good or not and I couldn't return it after the box was opened so now I have an epic green machine but I still think I shoulda got the slash....
