Saul Hudson known by his stage name Slash, is an American guitarist world famous as a member of the classic formation of the band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. In his later career, Slash joined some other bands of various styles, most successful, and in 2011 began a solo career releasing three albums and is currently on his third world tour.
In 1991, the ensemble released their new two-part album, Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II, and although the albums achieved great success, Slash's relationship with vocalist Axl Rose deteriorated over the years and the guitarist left the group in 1996. Slash formed a new band in 2004, Velvet Revolver, and despite the success achieved, the departure of vocalist Scott Weiland ended the group's career. Currently, Slash is the lead guitarist for Guns N' Roses as well as his band Slash Featuring. Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators.
Throughout his career, Slash has played alongside great names in world music, both groups and individual artists, of the most varied styles. In 1991, he played on two tracks from Michael Jackson's Dangerous album, "Give in to Me" and "Black or White", appearing in the video for the first song alongside the singer. In 1995, Slash played on "D.S.", a controversial song by Michael on the HIStory album, and in 1997 he appeared on the song "Morphine" on the Blood on the Dance Floor album. In 2001, Slash played in "Privacy" on the album Invincible, and in the same year he performed in a special concert that the singer organized at Madison Square Garden in New York in celebration of his thirty-year anniversary of his career.
