Saw them in Norfolk, VA in September. Greatest show I've ever seen. They played Mean Bone, Civil War, Rocket Queen, Silther, My Michelle, Sweet Child and of course Nightrain along with the new stuff. Was fucking amazing!

the problem is.. Axl's got the sound of the vocal and Slash's band got the instrumental sound that's why I ain't gonna choose between those two bands. But I think we'd all perefer Axl and slash performing together again won't we?

@kaosletic I did not diss Slash, I was talking about his tone as something coming from an electric device and therefore you can program a guitar to do so and his technique is nothing that other guitar players can't reproduce with ease. It doesn't matter who wins the blame war between them and who is the jerk or not... there was two contributions they gave GNR: a voice and a guitar playing. The irreplaceable and most brilliant one is the first, whether we like it or not.

Whenever anyone has asked me what the first song I learned to play on guitar without any hitches, they usually say "It's Smoke on the Water isn't it?"
