2 MILLION VIEWS!!! I cant thank you enough for all of your support! And I think about 7 years ago when I recorded this... I was crazy happy about getting 2 or 3 thousand views. Its just amazing how things change. Being honest about this video, it brings a lot of good memories, and I think I played well for 2 1/2 years playing guitar, but I only had a Zoom G2.1u effects pedal, and no amp. I used to record directly into my pc. Very electronic tone of course, and I thought itd be cooler if I added more reverb and delay. I loved the tone of this cover 7 years ago, but now... not so much haha. Its funny how your taste developes with time. Also I know there are certain technical things that could be improved. Man, I also wish KZbin allowed us to exchange videos without losing the views count haha, so we could update videos like this one. However, this wouldnt be the same, and it wouldnt transmit feelings about those days of inexperience and endless inspiration. Thanks again! P.S. Yes I recorded this before the date of uploading below the video. It was published for around 1 year on my old account (gewerh43) where it reached around 200,000 views... later I uploaded here on December 2008.

Aritra Sasmal haha, well, its up to the listener, you might think I played too clean, and others might think it wasnt clean at all. But at the end, this subject depends on how much you practice, thats all. You keep rocking and you will polish your technique with time.

This guy dominated the guitar cover scene in 2005-2010 and disappeared. Also his face was the biggest mystery of my childhood and would give anything to see the man behind such godly skills. 😂 Hope you're doing well man. thanks man Slash used to play it live when he was in GnR and it was always awesome, however those versions were always messy and hard to learn (since it was pure improvisation, and cuz he was drunk most times). Im very glad Slash finally took some very nice licks and put together a more prepared and melodic godfather in a Studio version in 2002. It turned out so beautiful and cool it was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards as Best Rock Instrumental Performance. Perfect tune for a talent show.
